BREAKING: Trump & Ex-Foreign Office Head Blame PM Starmer for Appointing Epstein-Suspect Lord Mandelson

1) PM Starmer Lied

PM Keir Starmer’s attempt to scapegoat the head of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), Sir Olly Robbins, for allegedly not telling him that Lord Mandelson had failed his Security Services vetting before appointing him as British ambassador to Washington DC has spectacularly backfired.

Yesterday, Sir Olly took his revenge by telling all during a parliamentary hearing.

The Times reports April 17th 2026:

“The bombshells kept coming.

• No 10 applied ‘constant pressure’ on the Foreign Office to appoint Lord Mandelson and showed no interest in his vetting.

• The Cabinet Office questioned whether there should be any vetting at all.

• Mandelson was given access to highly classified material before he was granted security vetting.

• The prime minister tried to appoint his director of communications — who it later emerged had supported a sex offender — as an ambassador.

The litany of revelations during Sir Olly Robbins’s appearance before the foreign affairs select committee is hugely damaging for Sir Keir Starmer because it goes back to what his critics describe as his ‘original sin’ — his catastrophic decision to appoint Mandelson in the first place and questions over his judgment.”

Our regulars will know that we have long held Starmer complicit in this affair.

Our immediate reaction to Starmer scapegoating the head of this Foreign Office was uncompromising.

We reminded the public that the idea that Starmer did not know was fantastical. This is especially so since we have been commenting on the openly available information since as far back as 2024.

Likewise, the issue was raised openly in parliament itself by MPs.

Rachel Gilmore MP in the House of Commons: “As if not already bad enough, this murky affair has been thickened by the fact that a source from MI6 has reportedly claimed that they failed to clear Mandelson and warned that his links to the man I still refuse to name would ‘compromise him’. Downing Street pressed ahead with the appointment anyway.”

In fact, our very first Radical Dispatch in February 2025 was openly naming Mandelson as an Epstein-suspect.

Given this context it is incredible for the Prime Minister to claim that he did not know.

2) Trump Blames Starmer

President Trump has seen the writing on the wall, publicly blaming PM Starmer for his “wrong judgement”.

And international media, such as Pakistan’s premium English language daily Dawn, has now picked up the story.

It is no surprise that the story has spread. Considering the allegation made by PM Starmer - that he wasn’t told - it would enter the realm of high treason, if true.

3) Starmer Scapegoating of Head of UK Foreign Office Backfires

Of course, the more likely situation is that Sir Olly Robbins did his job, and that PM Starmer has merely scapegoated him. This view is supported by the repeated bombshells revealed by Sir Olly in his parliamentary testimony yesterday.

The first major bombshell was Sir Olly’s revelation that Downing Street was pressuring him to quickly approve Mandelson regardless.

Sir Olly Robbins: “I’m afraid I don’t think at the point of his appointment and for days thereafter it was actually a given that he would be vetted. Again, if you look at the documents submitted under the Humble Address, there is no stipulation from Number 10 that he should be vetted. The welcome that was sent to him immediately afterwards doesn’t say, ‘welcome to the Foreign Office, subject to vetting’. The announcement put out on the 20th of December says that he will be out early in the new year. It does not say, ‘subject to vetting’.”

Committee Chair: “The contract does, though. The contract of employment.”

Sir Olly Robbins: “The contract is given to him after he was vetted. It says that he must maintain his clearance. So did mine.”

Sir Olly’s case rested on the notion that Downing Street under Starmer took a dismissive approach to Mandelson’s vetting.

Sir Olly Robbins: “I’m afraid I walked into a situation in which there was already a very, very strong expectation. And you would have seen the papers released already under the Humble Address that coming from Number 10, that he needed to be in post and in America as quickly as humanly possible. The very first formal communication of this to my predecessor from Number 10 private office being that they wanted all this done at pace and Mandelson in post before inauguration. So that’s the situation I faced.”

Committee Chair: “I’m sorry, so there is paperwork about that and that can, presumably, will be disclosed to Parliament?”

Sir Olly Robbins: “It already has been, Chair. That letter from Number 10, Private Office, is already in disclosures made. There’s nothing improper about it, but that’s the context I walked into. So I’m afraid what that translated into for my team in the Foreign Office and certainly the handover briefing I was getting as I arrived at post was what I felt was a generally dismissive attitude to his vetting clearance. The focus was on getting Mandelson out to Washington quickly. Despite this atmosphere, an atmosphere of pressure, the department completed developed vetting to the normal high standard. Because the vetting process is not there to determine fitness for office or reputational risk. It’s there to protect national security. And the Prime Minister has already made those decisions.”

Sir Olly also revealed that Downing Street were pressuring him to look into a similarly expedited approval for Starmer’s then Head of Communications, Matthew Doyle.

The problem was, of course, that Matthew Doyle had his own problems with sex offenders.

“Sir Keir Starmer was facing a fresh Labour backlash after a senior ex-official said No 10 pushed the Foreign Office for his former media chief, who campaigned for a paedophile, to be given a top diplomatic posting abroad.”

Considering all this, is it any surprise that Sir Olly confesses to not fully understanding why he was sacked.

The very short answer is I don’t fully understand the reasons that I’m in the position I am in, but that is for a separate process for me to try to get to the bottom of. As a human being, I’m desperately, desperately sad about it, Mr. Carden. I love that job. I love that institution. I was proud to serve this government and any government that might follow it. I hope I was doing it to the best of my ability. I was certainly doing it as hard as I possibly could. I had wonderful colleagues who I miss deeply. Of course, the answer is that he was scapegoated. All while maintaining the utmost seriousness and professionalism in his job, even now.

Sir Olly Robbins: “So I wrote to you this morning, Chair, and I’m sorry if this begins to come back to your opening remarks, but I may no longer be an official, but I don’t think I can open that box. This system absolutely depends on candidates for vetting knowing that the government will completely respect the confidences that they share.”

Committee Chair: “Yeah, no, no. So don’t tell me. OK, so if there was anything that wasn’t already in the public realm, just tell me that there was something that wasn’t already in the public realm. Don’t tell me what it was. Just tell me, oh, yeah, there was something else. But sorry, can’t tell you.”

Sir Olly Robbins: “I’m afraid I’m not prepared to do that, Chair. What that leads to is, of course, then an absolute storm of questions as to what that issue was.”

Committee Chair: “I’m not going to ask you a storm of questions. That’s going to be my last question. I’m going to move on to my last question after this.”

Sir Olly Robbins: “I’m sorry, Chair. I trust you. I’m not sure that the whole of the rest of the world will hold off from wanting to know.”

Committee Chair: “OK, all right.”

Nuclear Pakistan Sends 13,000 Troops to Saudi Arabia While Planning Peace Talks Round 2

1) Pakistan Plans Peace: Round II

Pakistan has managed to revive US / Iran peace talks for round two.

The week began with rumours reported by Axios that talks were revived.

“Pakistani, Egyptian and Turkish mediators will continue talks with the U.S. and Iran in the coming days in an effort to bridge the remaining gaps and reach a deal to end the war, according to a regional source and a U.S. official.”

Yesterday, Reuters reported that they had managed to confirm these rumours using multiple sources, suggesting that talks could resume as early as the end of this week.

“Negotiating teams from the U.S. and Iran could return to Pakistan later this week to resume negotiations to end the war in the Gulf, Pakistani and Iranian officials said on Tuesday, days after the first peace talks ended without a breakthrough. There was no immediate confirmation from U.S. ​officials about the plans, which the Iranian and Pakistani officials discussed on condition of anonymity. A source who ​has been involved in the talks said a proposal had been sent to Washington and Tehran ⁠for the delegations to return to Islamabad to resume discussions. No date had yet been decided but both countries could ​return as early as the end of this week.

An official at the Iranian embassy in Islamabad said: ‘The coming rounds ​of talks can come sometime later this week or earlier next week. But nothing is finalised as of now.’ Earlier, a senior Iranian source told Reuters: ‘No firm date has been set, with the delegations keeping Friday through Sunday open.’ A senior Pakistani official said Islamabad had ​reached out to Iran ‘and we got a positive response that they will be open to a second round ​of talks’. The official and a second Pakistani source said Islamabad was communicating with both sides about the timing of the next ‌round, ⁠and the meeting would be likely to take place over the coming weekend.”

Pakistan officials began briefing press that Islamabad would once again be the venue for these talks.

Al-Jazeera anchor: “But first, let’s go to Kamal Haider who’s live for us in, Islamabad. Kamal Pakistani officials telling us here at Al Jazeera that they’re offering Islamabad as the next place for more talks. So what are your sources telling you there?”

Correspondent Kamal Haider: “Well, indeed, the first and most important thing that we have to take into consideration is the fact that the ceasefire is holding, which is a good thing. The other thing is that now both the United States and the Iranians are acknowledging that the lines of communication are open. Pakistan had said at the conclusion of the first round here in Islamabad, that, the lines of communication must remain open. At this time, we can say that while there was no breakthrough in that first meeting, there was no breakdown either. Both sides, of course, one has to understand have had this animosity for over four decades, and you cannot solve and iron out these differences and problems within a matter of twenty four hours. So this is a process, not a one of, it’s a diplomatic process, and it was not an event. Many people here in Islamabad thought that after the United States said that they failed to reach an agreement, was construed that that was the end of the road. But now there is a ray of hope, cautious optimism that the talks, the second round is likely to continue. There was a lot of progress achieved between the two sides. One must understand the Iranians and another aircraft with technical experts. So there was agreement on several counts. And so there is optimism that if they sit together again, perhaps the crisis could be resolved before that ceasefire deadline runs out.”

Al-Jazeera anchor: “Alright. So as you said there, Kamal, there is a a sort of a a maybe a sliver of optimism there. But remind us, Kamal, how or why Pakistan has ended up playing such a pivotal role here as mediator.”

Correspondent Kamal Haider: “Well, first of all, one has to give credit to Pakistan’s diplomacy. The fact that Pakistan has enjoyed historic religious fraternal relationship with the Iranians and at the same time are in the good books of the Donald Trump administration who considers the Pakistani Field Marshal to be his favourite and the Pakistani Prime Minister who had nominated him for the Nobel Prize has endeared the Pakistani leadership to the Trump administration. So relations are definitely on an upward improvement trajectory, and that puts Pakistan in a very pivotal position. But this is not just Pakistan alone. Behind the scenes, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, and particularly China played a pivotal role in supporting the Pakistani endeavour, and there is a hope and expectation that perhaps for a change, some sort of a solution will be worked out between the United States and the Iranians.”

Al-Jazeera anchor: “Alright. Thank you very much. So Kamal Haider there with the latest, from Pakistani officials in Islamabad.”

Round one of these talks had ended with US Vice-President leaving Pakistan while saying that their best offer was on the table.

Fox News reporters summarised what the American demands were into the six points below.

On the subject of Uranium enrichment, Axios was reporting that JD Vance demanded that the Iranian regime halt their enrichment for 20 years, with the Iranians suggesting a shorter term.

“The U.S. proposed that Iran accept a 20-year moratorium on uranium enrichment during negotiations in Islamabad over the weekend, according to a U.S. official and a source with knowledge. The Iranians countered with a shorter ‘single digit’ period, according to the sources.”

Appearing optimistic, former Pakistani ambassador Maleeha Lodhi appears to have confirmed suggestions that negotiations are now centred on such technical matters.

If true, this is good news because the number of years that Uranium enrichment is suspended for is not a fundamental disagreement in principle, and suggests that a resolution is possible.

With that said, some unconfirmed reports have suggested that talks could begin in Pakistan as early as this Thursday.

British press are now reporting that the Iranians are agreed to renewed talks.

With Axios reporting that the Americans are also happy to continue peace talks.

Overall, there is now much optimism that the peace talks will not only be revived but also succeed.

ABC correspondent Jonathan Karl has reported that Trump has told him that he is expecting “an amazing two days ahead.”

One of the founders of Pakistanis for Trump has even relayed unconfirmed rumours that the President will travel to Islamabad himself. Trump, of course, would only be advised to do this if a deal has already been agreed.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is seizing the initiative to ensure that failure is not an option.

2) Pakistan Enters the Chat

One reason why these talks went from being feared as a failure to being buoyed for success was because Pakistan activated its mutual defence pact by sending 13,000 troops to Saudi Arabia.

This forced an Iranian recalculation in the region.

Pakistani international relations commentator Ishtiaq Ahmad elaborates.

And just as the Pakistanis provide the security umbrella for the region, the Saudis are now stepping in to provide the financial backing, after the UAE recently stepped back.

This is the Pakistani / Saudi mutual defence pact - the “Middle East Nato” - in action.

Even as the UAE pledges a deeper future financial role.

As acknowledged by China’s press too, Pakistan’s troop deployment to Saudi Arabia has fundamentally changed the calculus.

“Pakistan’s deployment of an air force contingent at a base on Saudi Arabia’s Gulf coast, coming as it mediated talks between Iran and the US, could force Tehran to reconsider its strategy of attacking critical energy infrastructure in the kingdom, analysts say. While purely defensive in nature, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) task force posed a poignant question to Tehran: if hostilities resumed, would it be prepared to risk shooting down warplanes belonging to the peacemaking country it clearly trusts?”

This was all forecasted by Radical Media on 1st March 2026, on the very first night of US / Israeli strikes on Iran.

GB News host Bev Turner: “You’ve been saying for, correct me if I’m wrong, but at least a year now that you think you were looking at a grand regional settlement. You think the Middle East is about to enter a period of prolonged peace, the likes of which we’ve probably not seen, well, we’ve not seen in our lifetime. Is that looking more likely or less likely tonight, Maajid?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, I’m going to say something counterintuitive, but you probably could predict my answer Bev, I think it’s looking more likely. And the reasons for that is that one of the unintended consequences of Iran’s calculated escalation, Iran deliberately escalated by attacking Sunni Muslim Arab Gulf countries who were not involved. Saudi Arabia had prohibited the US from using its air bases prior to this attack, which is why they’re so upset with what Iran did. So their calculated escalation was done in order to drag everybody else into the war, because when they’re fighting for their existential existence, it suits them to have as many parties for and against them in the war, because if you broaden the conflict, Russia gets involved, Iran has more supporters and therefore more chance of surviving. So that’s what they tried to do. What’s happened instead is because of the Pakistani-Saudi-Turkey joint military defence pact, when Saudi has said now that it would support the U.S. in any war effort necessary, because they’re so upset with what Iran, literally bombed them, right? So Saudi has said to America, we will support you by any means necessary, that drags in nuclear Pakistan because of the defence pact they signed about six months ago. Now, when you end up with that kind of escalation, Iran, I think miscalculated here, the only option left, and they are logical people, Persians can be very logical, right? The only option left does mean come to terms in a post-Khamenei context and agree a peace deal. I do think that’s what’s going to happen. Iran cannot oppose countries such as Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia when they come together, as they have done, in a mutual defence pact. It’s just too much for Iran to deal with.”

GB News Bev Turner: “I told you he’s the best person on this topic everybody Maajid Nawaz summing it up brilliantly, and hopefully giving people reason to sleep better tonight rather than worse, and that’s what I was wanting us to do is to allay the fears of people in the UK that this is the start of world war three. I know that everybody at home in the UK is incredibly worried about this situation and thank you Maajid, I really appreciate it, what fascinating insight, my friend. I will speak to you very soon. 3) Iran, Israel & India Internationally Isolated

For their own ideological reasons, there are three countries that are currently cold on the idea of Middle East peace. The Shia-Islamist theocracy in Iran, Israel under the Likudnik-Zionists and India under Modi’s BJP Hindutva supremacists.

If a grand regional settlement for peace is the trajectory, then those countries that do not get with the programme will suffer international isolation.

Iran already stands pretty much isolated in this regard.

But Israeli opinion is, for its own reason, also shifting away from peace.

Perhaps Israeli public opinion will change once the fruits of peace become apparent. Although, as we highlighted in last week’s Radical Dispatch, the Likudnik-Zionists who currently rule Israel seek to obstruct the chances of peace where they can.

If the assumption holds that certain parties are not interested in peace, rather they seek permawar, then it goes without saying that those parties would immediately act to spoil the nascent peace process. Both Israel and Iran have form in this regard.

As happened last time Trump declared peace, the Israelis were making it clear that they had felt left out in the cold again by Trump.

Netanyahu was eventually forced to accept Trump’s terms regardless.

The isolation is already apparent on the world stage, as last week Netanyahu reprimanded Spain for its critical stance against Israel.

Only to be greeted this week by news that Italy, under its right-wing populist leader Giorgia Meloni, is suspending its defence agreement with Israel.

The last of these three is India, which for its own reasons is skeptical of the potential peace. But India too is finding that all roads to war are closing.

Anchor: “They are calling you an aggressor, the United States and Trump an aggressor. This is the country that you're going to land in? Trump was actually scared whether Vance's security is going to be safe or not, whether he will be secure or not within Pakistan.”

American Diplomat: “He will be safe and, look at, I mean honestly, this is Times Now, this is one of the most esteemed stations in all of India and you all look like a bunch of school children right now squabbling over things that really don't make a difference, you know? And I feel like the school teacher about to discipline each and every one of you. This is about lives. This is about livelihood. This is about expensive gasoline, for everyday Indians, everyday Americans. And the way you all are squabbling and turning this into a Pakistan versus India dispute is actually quite embarrassing and I'm going to put you all in the corner and put a hat on you and put you in detention for 30 minutes, because this is shameful!"

At this stage it is worthwhile adding that if Pakistan does eventually manage to secure the peace, and if conversations then begin about Pakistan’s role on Trump’s Gaza peace board, leading to eventual recognition of Israel in return for a Palestinian state, many organised Sunni Islamist groups will also take grave offence, again for ideological reasons.

This bridge too then, will need to be crossed in a candid and forthright manner.

Leadership in peacemaking must be shown across the board. That is the very meaning of peace through strength.

Pakistan Secures Iran Ceasefire After Trump Threatens: “Open the F%&*g Strait...Praise Be to Allah!”

1) Pakistan Secures Peace

Last night Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a two week ceasefire between Iran, the US and allies before the expiry of a deadline imposed by President Trump.

The White House confirmed these events, beginning with an acknowledgement of the role that Pakistan played.

Direct negotiations between Iran and the US are set to commence this week in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

Sky News reports 8th April 2026:

Vice President J.D. Vance is also on his way to begin these face to face talks with the Iranians, conditions allowing.

Al-Arabiyah reports 8th April 2026:

Details of the deal have been revealed as follows.

In this way, it appears that Pakistan played a blinder.

“April 2 (Reuters) - A diplomatic outcast a year ago, Pakistan has become a trusted regional partner and a mediator between the U.S. and Iran to end the war in the Middle East, a remarkable transformation for the South Asian nation driven mostly by its powerful military chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir. Munir has had several meetings with President Donald Trump, including an unprecedented one-on-one lunch at the ​White House, while the government has apprehended an Islamic State bomber accused of killing American troops and handed him over to the U.S.”

And they are feeling, rightly, somewhat celebratory.

This honour that has been given is not to any one individual or government, it is to the entire nation. 2) Mad King Trump

Despite the heading above, President Trump is not mad. By his own account, he may in fact be an “extremely stable genius”. Read on.

In the days leading up to this announcement, Trump threatened Iran with complete devastation in an expletive laden social media post issued on Easter Sunday. The President demanded that Iran “open the F%&*g Strait” and ended his threat with the words “Praise be to Allah!”.

Trump’s choice of words ‘Praise be to Allah!’ led some observers to satirise the satire.

Many popular media pundits though, like Tucker Carlson, were unimpressed and took offence.

Tucker Carlson: “You’re tweeting out the F word on Easter morning? ‘You’ll be living in hell. Just watch. Praise be to Allah.’ So obviously you’re mocking the religion of Iran. Okay. If you seek a religious war, that’s a good idea. But by the way, no decent person mocks other people’s religions. You may have a problem with the theology. Presumably you do if it’s not your religion and you can explain what that is. But to mock other people’s faith is to mock the idea of faith itself. And we should never mock that because at its core is the acknowledgement that we are not in charge of the universe. We did not build it. We won’t be here at the end of it. We can destroy life. We cannot create it because we are not God. The message of all faith. The biggest picture level is the message in our Bible, which is you are not God. And only if you think you are, do you talk this way. But it’s not just mockery of Islam. And no president should mock Islam. That’s not your job. This is not a theocracy. We don’t go to war with other theocracies to find out which theocracy is more effective. We are not a theocracy. And God willing, we never will be because theocracies corrupt the religion. No, this is a mockery not just of Islam, it’s a mockery of Christianity. To send out a tweet with the F word on Easter morning promising the murder of civilians and then saying praise be to Allah without explaining any of it, you are mocking me and every other Christian because we’re Christians. We can’t support that. That is evil. That is an intentional desecration of beauty and truth, which is the definition of evil.”

Tucker raised three objections in the above. He appeared genuinely upset that President Trump swore on Easter Sunday. He also appeared convinced that the president “mocked” Islam. And, by threatening to blow up power plants and bridges while unleashing “hell”, Carlson took the view that Trump threatened to kill civilians.

Leaving aside the Easter message (not being a Christian, this author will not claim offence on Christianity’s behalf) we take the view that Carlson completely missed the president’s humorous reference to Islam in saying ‘Praise be to Allah‘. It was, as Trump has acknowledged after all, the ‘Islamic Republic of Pakistan’ that secured the peace. We also struggle to see a specific threat against civilians in the President’s above referenced social media post.

Let us explain.

Rather than being aimed at denigrating Islam, Trump’s use of the phrase ‘Praise be to Allah‘ was a direct reference to the American-Muslim heavy weight world champion Mike Tyson, at his prime, threatening his opponents.

Mike Tyson: “My style is impetuous. My defence is impregnable and I’m just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah.”

When placed in this context, as homage to one of the greatest American boxers of all time, Trump’s remark appears not offensive, but funny.

But then, unsatisfied with the level of offence caused, and only hours before his deadline for Iran came to pass, President Trump appeared to go “full retard”.

This last post seemed to do the job.

Nominally pro-Trump voices from the once ‘Never Trump’ camp took the bait. Online commentator Candace Owens demanded that Trump be deposed and labeled him a genocidal lunatic.

We did try to calm her down.

But it was our friend Tucker Carlson this time who went further than Candace Owens. In the video post below Carlson went beyond mere hysteria and encouraged US government officials to disobey direct presidential orders.

“…we’re going to wind up in a place that we can’t even imagine. Not just Iran, us and the rest of the world. And so that means, because this is obvious to anyone who’s paying any attention, that if you work in the White House or in the US military, now it’s time to say ‘no, absolutely not’. And say it directly to the president, ‘No’. In case you’re thinking about using some weapon of mass destruction against the population of Iran, in whose name we liberated Iran, we killed their religious leader for their benefit. Do you remember that? This was last month. Those people who are in direct contact with the president need to say: ‘No, I’ll resign. I’ll do whatever I can do legally to stop this because this is insane, and if given the order I’m not carrying it out. Figure out the codes on the football yourself.’ Because everything hangs in the balance right now. This is not hysteria this is a hundred percent real. And yet the people in this country, by and large, are sleepwalking along. No, the future will be pretty much like today, maybe a little different. That’s not the lesson of history. Things change fast and forever. There are pivot points where nothing is the same. Sometimes it’s better, but mostly it’s not. And this is one of those cases where it might not be at all better.”

And despite Carlson’s line above “This is not hysteria this is a hundred percent real” it appears that it was, in the end, all hysteria.

In truth, President Trump was pursuing a well established Kissinger-era US military doctrine called the ‘Madman Strategy.’

The National Security Archives report, accessed 7th April 2026:

“Washington, D.C., May 29, 2015 — President Richard Nixon and his national security adviser Henry Kissinger believed they could compel ‘the other side’ to back down during crises in the Middle East and Vietnam by ‘push[ing] so many chips into the pot’ that Nixon would seem ‘crazy’ enough to ‘go much further,’ according to newly declassified documents published today by the National Security Archive…With Madman diplomacy, Nixon and Kissinger strove to end the Vietnam War on the most favorable terms possible in the shortest period of time practicable, an effort that culminated in a secret global nuclear alert in October of that year.”

Hours later, a ceasefire was agreed and there was no nuclear armageddon.

3) Sunni Muslim Arabs Took a Third Way

From the beginning of this conflict Iran found itself isolated after it grossly miscalculated and decided to attack its Sunni Muslim Arab neighbours during Ramadan. The result of Iran’s grave miscalculation was that on the whole Sunni Muslims failed to rally behind the Iranian theocracy’s call to a global jihad against America.

This lacklustre response was noticed by the extremely online armchair global affairs commentators, such as BJJ world champion and former WARRIOR CREED guest Jake Shields.

Upon being reminded by us of his somewhat amateur command of Middle East politics, Jake Shields actually did go full retard.

At this stage, we were compelled to remind everybody that the Middle East cannot so easily be defined by the ‘with us or against us’ dichotomy vis a vis Israel.

Even Pakistan had reason to remain concerned about the Iranian theocracy’s treatment of its neighbours, as Founder and Editor of The Pak Daily, Hamza Azhar Salam reported:

It has been Sunni Muslim hesitancy surrounding the intentions of the Shia-Islamist theocracy in Iran that ended up being a decisive factor in swinging the advantage towards nuclear Pakistan playing such an active role in securing the peace.

4) There Was always Going to Be a Deal

As we forecasted on the first day of these strikes for GB News with Michelle Dewbury, these strikes were was always going to end up in a deal.

Maajid Nawaz: “We have learned lessons from Iraq. We have learned lessons from interventions generally abroad. President Trump tends not to intervene in foreign countries unless he has a plan in advance. And I call it strategic intervention. If we look at what happened in Venezuela, It’s very clear that there was a plan involved. Maduro was taken captive and it is very clear that there was a deal made with the remnants of the regime on the inside so they could take over from him after he was captured. If you go to...before that, as well, in Syria, the same thing happened. The Russian Navy even voluntarily withdrew, abandoning Assad to the point where he had to flee to Russia, and then there was a transition. Now, in neither of those two cases, but especially in the Venezuela case, it’s very clear they learned the lessons of Iraq, and they didn’t just disband the entire old regime. So though we have in Iran a scenario where the entire leadership has effectively been decapitated, I don’t think that the American plan would be to then disband the entire regime, as was done in Iraq, which led to that chaos and the vacuum into which came ISIS. I don’t think that is their plan. It seems to me that they would have had some form of deal made on the inside with whoever’s going to take over, probably second-line command and control, and somebody will ascend in that regime.”

GB News host Michelle Dewbury: “I thought he said he’d killed the second and third.”

Maajid Nawaz: “Yeah, somebody will ascend, and they’ll end up making a deal with the Americans, and that will keep happening until somebody is there willing to make a deal. Frankly, there needs to be a deal, and that’s probably how it’s going to end.”

In fact, during the first night of these strikes for GB News America with Bev Turner we made clear our view that Trump’s action would increase the chances of a grand regional settlement for peace, and we specifically named Pakistan’s role as being decisive.

GB News host Bev Turner: “You’ve been saying for, correct me if I’m wrong, but at least a year now that you think you were looking at a grand regional settlement. You think the Middle East is about to enter a period of prolonged peace, the likes of which we’ve probably not seen, well, we’ve not seen in our lifetime. Is that looking more likely or less likely tonight, Maajid?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, I’m going to say something counterintuitive, but you probably could predict my answer Bev, I think it’s looking more likely. And the reasons for that is that one of the unintended consequences of Iran’s calculated escalation, Iran deliberately escalated by attacking Sunni Muslim Arab Gulf countries who were not involved. Saudi Arabia had prohibited the US from using its air bases prior to this attack, which is why they’re so upset with what Iran did. So their calculated escalation was done in order to drag everybody else into the war, because when they’re fighting for their existential existence, it suits them to have as many parties for and against them in the war, because if you broaden the conflict, Russia gets involved, Iran has more supporters and therefore more chance of surviving. So that’s what they tried to do. What’s happened instead is because of the Pakistani-Saudi-Turkey joint military defence pact, when Saudi has said now that it would support the U.S. in any war effort necessary, because they’re so upset with what Iran, literally bombed them, right? So Saudi has said to America, we will support you by any means necessary, that drags in nuclear Pakistan because of the defence pact they signed about six months ago. Now, when you end up with that kind of escalation, Iran, I think miscalculated here, the only option left, and they are logical people, Persians can be very logical, right? The only option left does mean come to terms in a post-Khamenei context and agree a peace deal. I do think that’s what’s going to happen. Iran cannot oppose countries such as Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia when they come together, as they have done, in a mutual defence pact. It’s just too much for Iran to deal with.”

GB News Bev Turner: “I told you he’s the best person on this topic everybody Maajid Nawaz summing it up brilliantly, and hopefully giving people reason to sleep better tonight rather than worse, and that’s what I was wanting us to do is to allay the fears of people in the UK that this is the start of world war three. I know that everybody at home in the UK is incredibly worried about this situation and thank you Maajid, I really appreciate it, what fascinating insight, my friend. I will speak to you very soon. Goodbye. Right. I’m delighted to say that my panel are here waiting very patiently.”

We also made clear that Iranian denials that peace talks were in fact ongoing were to be taken with a pinch of salt and that Trump would prefer the Venezuela model by keeping the Iranian regime in place while decapitating its leadership.

And those three factors mean that no matter how much bravado they wish to display, no matter how much passion or zeal they may have remaining in them to want to fight, ultimately, the only conclusion, logically, is that a deal will be made, because the Iranians have been left leaderless and they have been left depleted, in terms of their missile stockpile, and isolated in the region, they will eventually have to come to terms. And primarily isolated because the Russians and the Chinese have not joined them in this war and have both urged them to agree to a deal. So they are isolated internationally. They are isolated regionally, the local Sunni Muslim Arab region and the Sunni region generally of Muslims in the greater Middle East have all turned on Iran for sending - in the month of Ramadan - more missiles towards its Sunni Muslim Arab neighbours than they even sent to Israel, the country that attacked them. It was a huge miscalculation, which has cost Iran the strategic victory.”

British Medical Association Triggers UK Government Query Into Scrapping Palantir’s NHS Contract

1) UK Government Inquires About Breaking Palantir Contract

UK PM Keir Starmer may be regretting his easy-pass given to yet another close-associate of Epstein, Peter Thiel and his AI military-targeting software company Palantir.

The Financial Times led reports this week that British ministers were seeking advice on triggering a break cause in their recently awarded £330 million government health contract with the NHS, after the British Medical Association (BMA) pushed ahead with serious objections to the contract having gone to Palantir.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“Ministers have sought advice on triggering a break clause in Palantir’s contract to provide data systems to NHS hospitals that help them to manage waiting lists, speed up discharging patients and use operating theatres more effectively. The company is two years into a seven-year £330 million contract but is facing calls from doctors to be stripped of its role in the health service.”

The Financial Times reports (£) 30th March 2026:

Palantir appear to be feeling the heat. In defence mode, they trotted out their UK head Louis Mosley - ironically, a grandson of the British Union of Fascists founder Oswald Mosley - to defend the company’s track record.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“Louis Mosley, executive vice-chairman of Palantir in the UK, urged ministers not to give in to ‘ideologically motivated campaigners’ who are demanding that the NHS cut its links with the company because of its work for the US defence sector and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).”

Admittedly, Mr Mosley was able to make a strong case to The Times.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“One key gripe is that NHS records from different parts of the system are not joined up. For example, A&E consultants cannot access a patient’s GP record to find out if they have any underlying health conditions. The federated data platform, launched in November 2023, was designed to overcome this by linking up data from different NHS IT systems, allowing medical records to flow freely between different hospitals.”

And Palantir is naturally able to point to inevitable efficiencies made.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“Latest figures from the NHS suggest that since the contract began the data system has delivered more than 110,000 extra operations and cut the number of patients waiting more than 28 days for a cancer diagnosis by 6.8 per cent.”

It is due to these reported efficiencies that Skynet Palantir has been spreading like wildfire in the NHS.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“A total of 123 hospital trusts out of 205 are using the federated data platform (FDP), according to the latest NHS data, with 80 ‘reporting benefits’ at the end of February.”

In young Mosley’s defence, and as recently as just two years ago, the Times Health Commission itself appeared to be institutionally behind him.

The Times reports 4th February 2024:

“Every NHS patient should have their health information digitally stored in one place so that any doctor treating them can access their records no matter where they are, The Times Health Commission has concluded. Eight in ten people support the creation of ‘patient passports’ that would provide a single system to keep track of medical records throughout a person’s life, and which could be accessed seamlessly across GPs, NHS hospitals, pharmacies and social care. The proposal is the first of ten key recommendations in the Times Health Commission Report, which is being published following a year-long inquiry and amid widespread backing for a data revolution in healthcare.”

As did the majority of the surveyed British public.

The Times reports 4th February 2024:

“YouGov polling for the commission shows 81 per cent of the public back its key recommendation of NHS digital health accounts, called patient passports, with only 10 per cent against. Some 89 per cent said patients should automatically be allowed to access their own medical records….Similar systems are already in place in Spain, Singapore, Estonia, Israel and Denmark, empowering patients and freeing medics from bureaucracy. Presently there are ‘between 40 and 60’ different types of electronic patient records within the NHS, the commission heard, while around ten per cent of hospitals are entirely paper-based.”

Even as the British public appeared to acknowledge the hitherto hypothetical risks.

The Times reports 4th February 2024:

“Polling shows that 56 per cent of the public agree that the convenience of being able to easily book appointments and access care outweighed any risk to the privacy or security of their medical records, compared to 22 per cent who disagreed. Meanwhile 68 per cent of the public would be happy for the NHS to allow other medical staff or clinicians to access their records.”

But fast forward two years, and today the two major political parties in Labour’s left leaning orbit, the Liberal Democrats and the populist insurgent Green party, are both pressing the Labour government to break from their contract with Palantir, as is the British Medical Association.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“Both the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party have jumped on these concerns, and are calling for the Palantir contract to be terminated. In January, the Greens’ leader, Zack Polanski, delivered a ‘contract termination’ letter to Palantir telling it ‘to pack its bags and get the hell out of the NHS’.”

So what changed?

Well, within these last two years the public has had time to process both how Covid mandates were used to justify a planned globalist technocratic takeover, and the use of AI military targeting software in the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Palantir played a major role in both.

2) Palantir Managed UK Covid Dashboard

The sheer power of what Palantir is able to offer, in terms of integrated AI systems that run entire business enterprises by themselves, is something that its CEO Alex Karp has openly acknowledged.

Alex Karp: “Large language models have certain attributes, like they can give you reasoning. But you can’t import that reasoning into your enterprise. What AIP does is allow you to take the benefits of a large language model, enhance them with algorithms that we help you build, and roll it securely across your whole enterprise. And what does that mean? It means you get all the benefits of a large language model in your enterprise today. Not in five years, not something that writes poetry. We’re not offering people poetry writing in their enterprise. We’re offering things that are so powerful that in reality, I’m not sure we should even sell this to some of our clients.”

In the context of how much power we surrender to a tech company that has access to the entirety of our nation’s health records, consider the potential for abuse while keeping in mind that this same company was appointed by the UK government to drive our over-reaching Covid response.

It was the data collected and centralised by Palantir on the UK Covid dashboard that drove the government’s Covid mandates.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“Palantir won the contract to join up NHS data systems in 2023 and began introducing it to trusts the following year. It was also involved in the successful vaccine rollout programme…Palantir also built the Covid-19 dashboard in the UK, which provided rolling daily updates on deaths, hospital admissions and vaccines, and was essential to the pandemic response.”

And that very same Times Health Commission which two years ago recommended the centralisation of our national health data, had received evidence from none other than the government’s chief scientific advisor Sir Patrick Vallance, who had been the main face of the government’s harmful Covid mandates.

The Times reports 4th February 2024:

“Sir Patrick Vallance, chairman of The Natural History Museum, former government chief scientific adviser, who gave evidence to the commission, said: ‘Companies that invest in research and development tend to do better than those that don’t, and the same is true for healthcare systems. Investment and application of innovation from prevention through to cures is a route to sustainability.’ The reforms outlined by the commission would help build upon the success of the NHS App, which has gained 33.6 million registered users since its launch five years ago. The NHS is also launching a federated data platform, which will bring together different databases within the hospital system. However, this platform does not include GP or social care data.”

It was the above referenced ‘federated data platform’ (FDP) that PM Keir Starmer recently handed over to Palantir in a £330 million deal to build out a centralised database for our NHS.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“Governments dole out multimillion-pound deals to private companies all the time. But the awarding last week of a lucrative £330 million contract to build a ‘federated data platform’ — one that will collate, analyse and connect patient data across the NHS — has attracted more vitriol than most.”

One of the problems is that Palantir appears to have landed the original Covid dashboard contract, without competition, and for a mere £1.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“…In March 2020, at the height of the pandemic, the firm was given an emergency contract to corral data about the emerging crisis, without competition. It was given £1 in exchange for its work — but managed to turn that into a £23.5 million longer-term deal later that year, which was subject to legal challenge. Before its latest fillip, Palantir had secured more than £37 million in contracts since 2020 from the NHS and the government.”

And if that sounds suspicious, it’s probably because it is.

A bit like pub landlords getting multi-million pound PPE contracts due to their friendship with Covid-era Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Palantir and senior NHS employees seem to have been operating a two-way revolving door.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“Questions have also been raised about the connection between the state and the company. Former Palantir officials have previously left it to work for the UK government, while others have gone the other way — including Harjeet Dhaliwal, the former deputy director of data services at NHS England, whom Palantir has said will not work on any NHS-related projects.”

Knowing what we now know about the sheer lunacy of the covid mandate era, Palantir’s dangerous role in our NHS cannot simply be excused or overlooked due to some efficiencies that have been correctly cited by the young Mosley.

This is especially since PM Starmer takes the view that Palantir should be trusted to allow AI to make decisions as important as admitting and discharging patients, as well as scheduling operations.

The Times reports 13th January 2025:

“Artificial intelligence is already advising doctors which patients to treat, writing up case notes, reading scans in the NHS and the technology could soon help prevent illness. Sir Keir Starmer said that he wanted to seize the ‘huge opportunity’ to use NHS patient records to help develop treatments and tests as he insists hospitals increase use of data-linking software…The NHS’s ‘federated data platform’ already uses AI to help make the most efficient use of operating theatres, offering a scheduling assistant that looks at waiting lists and doctors’ rotas to suggest the most suitable patients to book in when…Palantir, the US company that runs the platform, is testing AI that automatically writes discharge letters after patients’ treatments.”

Such decisions are highly likely to lead to efficiencies. But efficiencies are not the only concern. Civil liberties are too.

Maajid Nawaz for WARRIOR CREED: ”But Palantir had a direct managerial role in the way in which we were placed under lockdown for many months. We weren’t allowed out of our homes except for 15 minutes a day alone, not with anybody else. It is insane to think back at what we were subjected to. Children weren’t allowed to go to school. Grieving families weren’t allowed to visit their dying ones in hospital and their dying ones were many, many elderly were forced to die alone in segregated wards behind plastic screens, and funerals were held in isolation. It is an abomination what happened in this country under the COVID period, and that’s just the lockdown. Then, of course, there were these insane mask mandates forcing everybody to be gagged using surgical masks that are designed to prevent the transfer of blood, droplets, liquid, droplets from the mouth and nose of the surgeon into the patient and splashes coming the opposite way. Those cloth masks are not designed to prevent tiny virus particles that are many manifold times smaller than the holes in those cloth masks. And yet we were told to put on these useless cloth masks, which is all theatre. Otherwise, we weren’t allowed to leave the home and interact for our essential services such as going to to the store to buy our groceries. And then in addition, the worst of them all, were the mandated covid jabs and we were told that if we did not take them under a policy of ‘no jab no job’ we would lose our jobs, and before anyone argues over this, I personally lost my job as a national broadcaster on LBC, Global’s LBC, uh on a weekend - very popular mind you - talk show, which had over half a million listeners every weekend, even though I took the two Covid jabs under duress for not wanting to lose my family’s only source of income, and therefore under duress trying to hold on to my job, took those two jabs. And then they sacked me anyway, because I boycotted the booster shot in solidarity with all the unvaccinated, because the idiots, the absolute maniacs started suggesting that the unvaccinated should never be allowed to leave their homes, including people at my former station, such as Nick Ferrari and others, who took that position and argued for it on air. It is insane, the position that people took. And all of those positions are online. The internet never forgets, including Nick Ferraris, who still has his job at LBC. All those positions are online that all these media pundits such as Piers Morgan himself took. And he keeps me blocked online for calling him out till this day on that position. They all took the pro mandate positions. They all kept their jobs. And Palantir, this is the relevance of the point: Palantir was the company given the job by the government to manage the data flows during that period by running the daily COVID dashboard. Do you remember the COVID dashboard? It was the dashboard that the government and the NHS used officially to determine the COVID statistics on a daily basis, which would inform their policy and informed policies such as their mandates, including the lockdown, the mask mandate and the jab mandate. Palantir was running that system for the government.”

3) Palantir Runs Military AI-targeting Software

The second reason that Palantir’s fortunes have turned is due to the public’s increased awareness, and discomfort, around the role Palantir plays in war abroad, and state surveillance at home.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“The contract has attracted controversy because of the company’s work for the US military and intelligence services. One key system linked to Palantir is Project Maven, a US military AI programme that analyses surveillance data to identify potential targets. The company has also been accused of allowing its systems to be used to identify illegal immigrants to be targeted by ICE.”

After the disarming and subsequent execution of US military veterans ICU nurse Alex Pretti by US Border Patrol agents working under ICE, even President Trump distanced himself from the policies of those officials who had been reliant on Palantir’s predictive AI system.

Radical Media reports 29th January 2026

Considering such a predictive AI targeting system was used in Gaza and is now also being used in Iran, many are uneasy about granting the same company dominance over the private, highly sensitive health data of domestic citizens.

The Times reports 3rd March 2026:

“During the US-led invasion of Iraq, a 2,000-strong American intelligence unit was asked to identify targets on the ground for western troops. In Operation Epic Fury against Iran, 20 troops can carry out the same workload. They are using software developed by the CIA-backed technology company Palantir, which uses artificial intelligence to choose and dismiss targets more quickly than the human brain can think…The Pentagon has been developing Project Maven with the help of Palantir since 2018 and the software is embedded in all US combatant commands. It uses AI and machine learning to crunch vast amounts of data, specifically for military targeting and surveillance. Experts compared it to a military version of Uber.”

It is not disputed that Palantir engages in organising military “kill chains”.

The Times reports 3rd March 2026:

“Bryan Clark, a senior fellow and director of the Center for Defense Concepts and Technology at the Hudson Institute, a think tank, said the system allowed planners to organise kill chains and orchestrate the movement and actions of hundreds of military units. ‘This kind of work would take days using computer spreadsheets, but now planners can complete operational plans within hours or less,’ he said….The British military is pouring millions of pounds into the Palantir technology. To win wars, experts believe, nations will have to capture data faster than the adversary. Data could be provided from myriad sources, such as satellites, surveillance aircraft and assets on the ground.”

And drone warfare is virtually impossible without the use of highly sophisticated AI.

It is the combination of such matters that are concerning for observers.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“But although everyone seems to agree that the NHS needs improvement — and that data could be at the core of this — they are far from agreed that Palantir, the company given the bumper contract by the government, is the right face in the frame. ‘I think the selection of Palantir as a supplier is particularly problematic because of the reputation that they have in the marketplace,’ said Simon Bolton, who until January this year was chief executive of NHS Digital.”

Maajid Nawaz for WARRIOR CREED: “Palantir has contracts with in terms of the US government is for collecting data on predicting where so-called illegal immigrants will be and then providing that data to ICE, the US government department, responsible for the raids that led to the riots last few months ago. And Palantir is the company that is not only responsible for providing the surveillance data on undocumented migrants in the United States of America, but that’s the same company that was providing AI military targeting software to Israel during their ethnic cleansing of Gaza. So this company is of particular concern.”

Such concern is not allayed by the pronouncements and behaviour of the company’s brazen CEO Alex Karp, who publicly boasts about killing people while seeking board member approval.

And we hope you’re in favour of that. We hope you’re enjoying being a partner. And we’re really happy and very, very focused on what we’re doing. Thank you for your time’. ‘Thank you. That concludes Q&A for today’s call’. Now, that isn’t AI. That is a real Palantir meeting. That is their real CEO, Alex Karp, saying that Palantir is ‘happy to scare people and on occasion kill’ them. Now, that’s fine. It’s a Pentagon and CIA funded AI-military targeting software company. Fine. You know, sometimes war is necessary. We’re not pacifists here. But should such a company with their CEO acting like a Lex Luthor, real life Lex Luthor from the Superman movies, should such a company also be granted total access to our health data?”

In fact, Alex Karp regularly fantasises about using the immense power he has as CEO of Palantir to go after his enemies.

Interviewer: “What’s a lower purpose?”

Alex Karp, Palantir CEO: “Well, I love the idea of getting a drone and having light fentanyl-laced urine spraying on analysts who tried to screw us. So that’s my lower purpose. And, uh... Yeah, but... and others. But the higher purpose for me was to get this nation to be the preeminent power in the world. Because whatever faults we have, they’re nothing like anyone else’s.”

People are naturally waking up to the notion that providing such a company, led by such unsavoury personalities as Peter Thiel and Alex Karp, access to our nation’s unified sensitive private health data may not be such a good idea.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“…Alex Karp, Palantir’s chief executive, is also a controversial figure. With wild, curly hair, he is an eccentric philosopher-billionaire who unashamedly discusses how his company serves America’s National Security Agency (NSA), FBI and CIA, helping them mine vast troves of data for clues to help them track down terrorists and human traffickers, as well as co-ordinate disaster response efforts. His company is said to have been integral in tracking down Osama bin Laden. Critics ask, though, how the NHS can consider handing over sensitive personal details to such a company. Rather than shy from addressing the question, Karp told the Financial Times last year that Palantir’s partnership with the CIA should reassure NHS users, not worry them. The CIA, he reasoned, is not in the business of dealing with entities that cannot keep data ultra-secure and segmented.”

4) British Medical Association Opposes Palantir

It is for these reasons that the BMA has openly opposed the UK government’s contract with Palantir.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“…the British Medical Association has called on NHS England to end the contract, citing privacy fears about patient data being handed to a US tech giant, and ethical concerns about working with a company involved in ‘warfare and human rights violations’…The BMA said the company was an ‘unacceptable choice’ for the FDP (federated data platform). It agreed to ‘lobby at a national level against the continued introduction of Palantir’s software into health data systems, and to terminate all existing contracts that the NHS holds with Palantir’”.

It is precisely due to this breakdown in public trust over the last two years that people have turned away from tolerating government officials and their revolving doors with Big Tech firms.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“Elena Simperl, professor of computer science at King’s College London… (said) ‘We have experienced several attempts over the past years to achieve similar aims. No matter how well intended, they fail because of a common set of concerns around data privacy, stewardship and governance, and it is unclear to me whether lessons have been learnt from these experiences,’ she said. ‘With every failed attempt, more people have opted out, and public trust has been eroded’. That erosion in trust after previous failures of data handling in health tech makes it trickier for patients to feel comfortable sharing their health information with the system. As does Palantir’s past. ‘Palantir has a very concerning history in the US of expansive surveillance and targeting, in ways that are intrusive and could undermine the rights of vulnerable groups,’ said Meg Davis, professor of digital health and rights at Warwick University. ‘Any agreement with Palantir should be made public in the interests of transparency, with tough privacy protections’.”

It has also been noticed that whereas Palantir was initially let into government during the Covid-era without competition, and for a mere £1, the £330 million UK government contract did not lack a British alternative.

The Times reports 30th March 2026:

“There were two other bids for the contract: from the US software company Oracle and a consortium of British tech companies led by the firm Quantexa.”

The British company even made it part of its failed bid to focus on the privacy and data security concerns.

The Times reports 16th October 2023:

“Speaking to The Times, Vishal Marria, chief executive of Quantexa, urged the NHS to go with a British company whose staff are ‘all one hop away from the NHS’…Marria said NHS medical records were one of the most important assets the UK had, and that it was vital to ensure the data was put into a platform founded in the country. He said trust and transparency were in the DNA of his company, adding: ‘We come from the right intentions to support what could be a once in a generation data transformation’…Marria warned against contracts with a single supplier that risks ‘vendor lock in’, saying companies in such a dominant position risked ‘having people over a barrel’ by trapping data in software they control. He added that the way his software was designed meant that he had no access to the data, or to the platform once it was deployed in the infrastructure of the healthcare provider.”

Despite this British alternative being on the table, PM Starmer still awarded the UK government contract to Palantir, an American company founded by Epstein associate Peter Thiel.

We do wonder why.

5) Who is Palantir Founder Peter Thiel?

Concerns around Palantir are not restricted to their role in Covid mandates and AI military targeting software. A spotlight is also shone on its founder Peter Thiel.

Like other tech billionaires, Peter Thiel plays up his libertarian anti-state credentials.

The Times reports 25th November 2023:

“The company was founded in 2003 by the enigmatic, libertarian billionaire Peter Thiel, who earlier this year told an audience at the Oxford Union debating society that the UK health service was so sclerotic that ‘the NHS makes people sick’. Pride in the service, free at the point of delivery, was misguided, Thiel said. It wasn’t working. The country had a collective ‘Stockholm syndrome’.”

Most of this is but sly accelerationism on the part of Thiel. Big Tech disdain for the state is not driven by any libertarian principle founded in freedom, rather it is a self-motivated desire to accelerate the demolition of the state so that tech-surveillance corporates may step in and fill the void where the state once existed. This fusion of corporate power and the state is otherwise known as fascism.

Peter Thiel is no people’s champion. This is the same Peter Thiel who has had multiple associations with Epstein, as outlined in detail below…

Trump Announces Ceasefire & Holds Peace Talks With Iran in Pakistan

1) Trump Announces Peace Talks

President Trump has surprised the world yet again by announcing a five day pause on hostilities amid pace talks with Iran in Pakistan.

Trump was buoyant, claiming that he and the Iranians very much want to make a deal.

President Trump: “We’ve had very, very strong talks. We’ll see where they lead. We have points, major points of agreement. I would say almost all points of agreement. Perhaps that hasn’t been conveyed. The communication, as you know, has been blown to pieces. They’re unable to talk to each other. But we’ve had very strong talks. Mr. Witkoff and Mr. Kushner had them. They went... I would say perfectly, I would say that if they carry through with that, it’ll end that problem, that conflict and I think it’ll end it very very substantially. We have very much in mind our partners in the Middle East, we’ve had great relationships with a lot of them. As you know a lot of them were surprisingly hit and I was surprised to see it, and so was everyone else, but we have uh…they’re very much in mind in the discussions. So the discussions took place yesterday they went into yesterday evening. They want very much to make a deal. We’d like to make a deal, too. We’re going to get together today by probably phone because it’s very hard to find a country. It’s very hard for them to get out, I guess. But we’ll at some point very, very soon meet. We’re doing a five-day period. We’ll see how that goes. And if it goes well, we’re going to end up with settling this. Otherwise, we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out.”

This last line “And if it goes well, we’re going to end up with settling this. Otherwise, we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out” very much reflects the ‘strategic interventions’ approach that we have been stating forms President Trump’s strategy: overwhelming military power deployed as a negotiation tactic.

As we stated, “President Trump, the Americans and the Israelis, have as long as they like bombing Iran until they decide to stop…”

President Trump: “That will be opened very soon, if this works.”

Journalist: “How soon? And who’s in control of it? Will Iran still be able to control the flow of oil?”

President Trump: “Be jointly controlled. Maybe me. Maybe me. Me and the Ayatollah, whoever the Ayatollah is, whoever the next Ayatollah. Look, and there’ll also be a form of a very serious form of a regime change. Now, in all fairness, everybody’s been killed from the regime.”

But Trump has gone into some detail regarding the nuclear programme too, stating that an agreement has, in fact, already been reached.

Journalist: “What exactly are you looking for in these talks, Mr. President?”

President Trump: “We’re looking for all of the things that we’ve been talking about. We want to see no nuclear bomb, no nuclear weapon, not even close to it, low-key on the missiles. We want to see peace in the Middle East. The nuclear dust, we’re going to want that. And I think we’re going to get that. We’ve agreed to that. Yeah, we’ve agreed to that. And we want no enrichment. But we also want the enriched uranium. If this happens, it’s a great...start for Iran to build itself back. And it’s everything that we want. And it’s also great for Israel and it’s great for the other Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, all of them, Kuwait and Bahrain in particular. So it’s great for all of them.”

A timely intervention by US-ally and key mediating Gulf Arab state, Qatar, has set the tone well.

Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majid al-Ansari: “First of all, I think we’ve said this countless times. Iran has been here for millennia. The people in this region have been here for millennia. Nobody’s going anywhere. Total annihilation is not an option. No one peoples or country will disappear from existence by the wish or whim of any political actor. We will live next to each other. We will be neighbours for the future of humankind, and we have to find ways of living next to each other. This is a very difficult moment. Our country has been attacked. Our sovereignty has been attacked. We have seen the effects on our economy, on the daily lives of people living here. And we don’t take it lightly and we don’t see the attacks on our sovereignty as something that we can live with. Now, that said, obviously, living next to 90 million people in Iran, a proud people that we have shared the Gulf with for, as I said, millennia, will continue. And we will have to find a way past this. This is a very difficult moment, but we will find our way out of it. And I have to say here that our message was always to Iran: the brotherly relationship, the neighbourly relationship, between our peoples should take paramount over any other political consideration. The fact that they decided to attack our country like this does not show good neighbourly relations, or the essence of that brotherly relationship, but it is something that we don’t find any alternative to in our region.”

In the end, there is no alternative to peace.

2) Pakistan Mediates

These talks are being held via key strategic partner, the Muslim world’s only nuclear power, Pakistan.

Financial Times reports 23rd March 2026:

Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif has confirmed this news.

Media are reporting that US envoys Witkoff and Kushner, alongside US Vice President JD Vance, are already on their way to thee Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

The role of Pakistan playing such a key role in rebalancing the region was forecast by us on day one of this conflict with Beverly Turner for GB News America.

GB News host Bev Turner: “You’ve been saying for, correct me if I’m wrong, but at least a year now that you think you were looking at a grand regional settlement. You think the Middle East is about to enter a period of prolonged peace, the likes of which we’ve probably not seen, well, we’ve not seen in our lifetime. Is that looking more likely or less likely tonight, Maajid?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, I’m going to say something counterintuitive, but you probably could predict my answer Bev, I think it’s looking more likely. And the reasons for that is that one of the unintended consequences of Iran’s calculated escalation, Iran deliberately escalated by attacking Sunni Muslim Arab Gulf countries who were not involved. Saudi Arabia had prohibited the US from using its air bases prior to this attack, which is why they’re so upset with what Iran did. So their calculated escalation was done in order to drag everybody else into the war, because when they’re fighting for their existential existence, it suits them to have as many parties for and against them in the war, because if you broaden the conflict, Russia gets involved, Iran has more supporters and therefore more chance of surviving. So that’s what they tried to do. What’s happened instead is because of the Pakistani-Saudi-Turkey joint military defence pact, when Saudi has said now that it would support the U.S. in any war effort necessary, because they’re so upset with what Iran, literally bombed them, right? So Saudi has said to America, we will support you by any means necessary, that drags in nuclear Pakistan because of the defence pact they signed about six months ago. Now, when you end up with that kind of escalation, Iran, I think miscalculated here, the only option left, and they are logical people, Persians can be very logical, right? The only option left does mean come to terms in a post-Khamenei context and agree a peace deal. I do think that’s what’s going to happen. Iran cannot oppose countries such as Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia when they come together, as they have done, in a mutual defence pact. It’s just too much for Iran to deal with.”

Since presenting this view on GB News, the Saudis have confirmed it.

Journalist: “Pakistan is a nuclear nation.”

Saudi Analyst: “Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. And we have this agreement right now with Pakistan. It’s a mutual defence agreement. And there is, like we can say it literally, that there is a nuclear umbrella over Saudi Arabia. A Pakistani nuclear umbrella over Saudi Arabia. And we appreciate Pakistan. That does not mean we are not, that does not mean that we are actually moving away from our strategic partners like the United States and Europe, etc, no. Saudi Arabia is just diversifying its strategic relations. Definitely, Pakistan has been always a steadfast partner and ally of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And what happens in Pakistan affects us, and what happens in Saudi Arabia affects the Pakistanis...”

It is the joint defence pact that Saudi Arabia signed with Pakistan prior to this conflict that has provided Pakistan with the military leverage to act as the guarantor for peace. Meanwhile, Pakistan also enjoys cordial relations with Iran, while maintaining strong ties to President Trump after having joined his Gaza peace board.

Middle East Eye reports 18th March 2026:

“Saudi Arabia has so far relied on Pakistan to mediate with Iran. Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said earlier this month that he had directly raised the defence pact in conversations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. ‘We have a defence pact with Saudi Arabia, and I conveyed this to the Iranian side,’ Dar said, adding that Tehran responded by seeking assurances that Saudi territory would not be used as a launchpad for attacks against Iran. In addition to its diplomatic and defence ties with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan is reliant on the Gulf for crude oil and natural gas. This week, the Pakistan-flagged ship, the Karachi, also known as the Lorax, became the first vessel carrying non-Iranian crude to transit through Hormuz, with its ship-tracking data, called the Automatic Identification System, on. The vessel belongs to Pakistan’s state-owned National Shipping Corporation, and its oil was from the UAE. Analysts say Pakistan likely negotiated transit with Iran’s government.”

The talks are, so far, looking optimistic.

3) Some Iranian Officials Deny Talks

There have been conflicting reports from the Iranian side about the veracity of these talks, with Israeli press reporting that the Iranians are indeed on board.

Media speculation has arisen about exactly whom the Americans claim they are talking to inside Iran, with most settling on the speaker of Parliament Mohammad ⁠Bagher Ghalibaf.

“The Trump administration is quietly weighing Iran’s parliament speaker as a potential partner — and even a future leader — as the president signals a shift from military pressure toward a negotiated endgame. Mohammad ⁠Bagher Ghalibaf, the 64-year-old who has repeatedly threatened the U.S. and its allies with retaliation, is seen by at least some in the White House as a workable partner, who could lead Iran and negotiate with the Trump administration in the war’s next phase, according to two administration officials. But the White House isn’t ready to commit to any one person, hoping to stress test multiple candidates as they look for someone willing to make a deal, said the two people, both granted anonymity to describe internal thinking. ‘He’s a hot option,’ one administration official said, cautioning that no decisions have been made. ‘He’s one of the highest…But we got to test them, and we can’t rush into it’.”

This speculation was aided by the US and Israeli decision not to target two key figures of the Iranian theocracy.

But, to add to the confusion, and despite both the Americans and the Pakistanis sounding hopeful, some quarters inside Iran have denied that any such peace talks are taking place at all, even as the Parliamentary speaker Mohammad ⁠Bagher Ghalibaf appears to deny the entire story.

The Times reports 23rd March 2026:

“President Trump stepped back from the brink yesterday after threatening to destroy Iran’s power infrastructure unless it reopened the Strait of Hormuz, as he insisted there were’very good’ discussions on ending the war. The Times has been told that Steve Witkoff, Trump’s Middle East envoy, has travelled to Pakistan, which has offered to host in-person talks. There is, however, so far no sign of any meaningful Iranian figure joining him there….The speaker of the Iranian parliament, the man identified by Trump allies as a potential interlocutor in Tehran, strongly rejected the suggestion of any talks, either direct or indirect. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on X: ‘No negotiations have been held with the US, and fake news is used to manipulate the financial and oil markets and escape the quagmire in which the US and Israel are trapped.’ He added that Iran demanded ‘complete and remorseful punishment of the aggressors’.”

Such a pattern of denial is quite normal for axis powers while in negotiations, because they see seeking peace as weakness, but it shouldn’t worry observers too much.

And the Americans have no political reason to overstate Iranian intentions and embarrass themselves, if talks were not making progress.

Trump has clarified that they are indeed dealing with figures who the Americans believe are in charge, inside Iran.

President Trump: “…we’ve wiped out the leadership phase one, phase two and largely phase three, but we’re dealing with the man who I believe is the most respected and the leader..uh you know it’s a little tough they’ve wiped out, we’ve wiped out everybody.”

Journalist: “Is that the Supreme Leader?”

President Trump: “No, not the Supreme Leader. Well, nobody’s ever, nobody heard of the second Supreme Leader, the son. Nobody, we have not heard from the son. Every once in a while you’ll see a statement made, but we haven’t, we don’t know if he’s living. But the people that seem to be running it, and they seem that based on, really, fact, because things they’ve said have taken place.”

As Radical Media stated on the very first day of these strikes, and like Venezuela, it does seem as though Trump has decided to keep the regime in place.

Some analysts are now confirming that, as in Venezuela, the US will be looking for figures inside Iran who are willing to cut a deal.

Host: “We’re gonna bring in John Hendren in Washington DC. And John, despite Iran denying that these talks are happening, the White House seems confident that progress is being made. Is it clear, though, who the US is actually talking to in these negotiations?”

John Hendren: “Well, US President Donald Trump hasn’t said who those ‘good and productive talks’ he’s been referring to have been with. Usually the US deals with intermediaries in other Middle Eastern countries. But an Israeli official did tell Axios that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, two intermediaries for the US administration, have been in touch with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammed Bahar Ghalibaf. And although he has denied any direct contact, the US is said, through US officials talking to US media, is said to be looking for a Delce Rodriguez character. That’s the vice president in Venezuela who, after Nicolas Maduro, the president, was captured by the US, she got a deal with the US that included giving oil to the US in order to form a peace agreement between the two countries. And these talks led Trump to announce a five-day pause in attacks on Iranian energy infrastructure. That just happens to be about the amount of time it takes for thousands of Marines to arrive in that area. Whether that’s a coincidence or not is not clear. Trump made this amount announcement before the markets opened. So stocks went up and oil prices went down. That achieved one goal of his. So he might be sincere. There is speculation that he might be backing down from his threat to attack Iran’s energy infrastructure, that he was just trying to calm markets. Or it could simply be strategic ambiguity, an effort to keep Iran off its balance as to what the U.S. endgame is.”

Journalist: “Okay, thanks so much, John, for all of that. John Hendren for us in Washington, DC.”

In balance, it is probably fair to say that whomever the US is speaking to inside Iran wishes to keep these talks quiet until they are ready to announce a deal.

President Trump: “…sort of forget. And we’re winning another one, I tell you, we’re winning so big, nobody’s ever seen anything like we’re doing in the Middle East with Iran. And they are negotiating, by the way, and they want to make a deal so badly, but they’re afraid to say it, because they figure they’ll be killed by their own people. They’re also afraid they’ll be killed by us. There’s never been a head of a country that wanted that job less than being the head of Iran.”

Meanwhile, the Israelis have confirmed that they are not part of these talks.

And Netanyahu had already stated that the Israelis will carry on bombing Iran until such a time that an agreement is reached.

Israel Kills Iran Security Chief, Paramilitary Head & Intelligence Minister, in Succession

1) Iranian Security Chief, Paramilitary Head & Intelligence Minister all Killed

It has been another bad week for Iran.

The Shia-Islamist regime has experienced its second total leadership decapitation, after the first took out their theocrat Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

This time, the Israelis killed the Iranian theocracy’s Security Chief Ali Larijani, its Paramilitary Head Gholamreza Soleimani and its Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, all in succession.

Sky News: “The very latest coming out of the Iran war. Two bits to remind you of that have come from the Israelis, that they’ve eliminated two very high-profile targets in Iran over the course of the last 24 hours. The head of the Basij militia, Mr. Soleimani, and the Iranian security chief, Ali Larijani. And there’s been further breaking news relating to that, that a Iranian state media has published a handwritten note on social media from Larijani, the now deceased Larijani, according to the Israeli defence minister, which this handwritten note commemorates the memory of Iranian sailors killed in the US attack, whose funeral is expected to be held on Tuesday.”

Israel’s jubilant Foreign Minister announced this news despite ongoing Iranian denials. The Iranians conceded the point themselves a day later.

Israel’s Foreign Minister: “We took out commander of the Basij, Soleimani, and his deputy and secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani. The Iranians are also safer without them. By the way, we still haven’t seen Mojtaba. Wouldn’t you like to see him, minister? He should show his face. He can hide. He can continue to hide. But to show his face, because it’s beginning to be embarrassing for this regime. The besiege under Soleimani’s command was responsible for the brutal repression of the Iranian people seeking their freedom. Soleimani was under US and EU sanctions for his role in repressing Iranians. Larijani was also under US sanctions for the same reason, with a $10 million prize on his head. We did it for free, anyhow. The besieged used cruel and violent methods against their own people. In January, the regime butchered probably over 30,000 Iranians. Our actions are weakening its repression mechanism the regime can only be toppled by the Iranian people. Yet, without external help, the Iranian people cannot liberate themselves.”

The reference to an absent Mojtaba points to Ayatollah Khamenei’s son and successor, Mujtaba Khamenei who has not been seen at all since he was selected to become Iran’s next theocrat Supreme Leader.

Such a prolonged absence has led Trump to speculate whether he is even alive.

Regardless, amidst uncertainty around Mujtaba’s fate, security chief Ali Larijani was acting as Iran’s de facto leader. He has now certainly been killed.

On the same day, Israel managed to take out the commander of Iran’s feared Basij internal suppression paramilitary unit, Gholamreza Soleimani.

This was followed on the next day by the killing of Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib.

These three successive national security killings are effectively a second decapitation of the Iranian theocracy’s leadership.

As we forecasted from the very first night of these strikes, such leadership decapitations will continue until a leader emerges who is willing to strike a deal with President Trump.

2) Who Was Larijani?

Of the most significant of the three killed leaders was Security Chief Ali Larijani, who was de facto ruler of Iran. Some Iranian-American and other commentators saw Larijani’s killing as the removal of an ‘off-ramp’ for Trump, representing a step back from a potential ceasefire.

In realty, and after its second decapitation, it is what remains of the Iranian leadership that will be in need of an off-ramp, not President Trump.

Such skepticism however has found support from a surprising quarter. Joseph Kent, who was until that day head of the US National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), resigned in protest at what he called “Israel’s war” on Iran.

This is significant for Trump, not so much because of what Kent has said, but because of who he is while saying what he has said.

Outside of podcast commentators such as Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, Kent represents a national security insider taking the view that Israel exerts undue influence over American foreign policy.

Kent’s resignation won’t so much affect President Trump as it will affect Israel’s ability to project soft power inside the US over the long term. Trump has repeatedly acknowledged that US and Israeli interests may diverge at times.

Journalist: “Speaking with Prime Minister Netanyahu, are your objections the same in terms of ending the war”

President Trump: “Well, I think they might be a little different, I guess. You know, they’re a different country than we are. But he will tell you there’s never been a power like the power of the United States. I built our military in my first term. Continue to do so. But I built our military and rebuilt it. It was in bad shape just like the wall, just like the border, just like everything else in our country was all in bad shape. But I rebuilt the military in my first term and we’re using it in this term to, you know, really for the sake of good, for the sake of peace and for the sake of safety and good.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s actions in Iran will remain unchanged. And his targeting of Iranian leaders who refuse to play ball will continue unabated until someone emerges who is ready to play ball.

Larijani, after all, sought to actively stir the Islamic world against its own leaders, and behind Iran’s war.

On Larijani, US and Israeli interests can quite easily be seen to converge, because of the role Larijani took on conducting this war.

This is why the Sunni Muslim Arab world will not be shedding many tears for Larijani’s death, as we shall see further below.

3) Superpower politics

As we stated last week, Iran was the only regional country not to join Trump’s Gaza peace board. For that reason alone Iran may be being bombed into submission.

Trump has made his rationale clear: these strikes were necessary to avoid World War III.

President Trump: “…Israel and then the Middle East. And you know that because all of those missiles that were launched against their neighbours were set long ago, long before they knew they would be using them this quickly. Had we not done this, you would have had a nuclear war that would have evolved into World War III.”

Considering the absolute military dominance the Americans have over Iran, and compared to what they could do, they remain relatively constrained. The aim is clearly to bomb Iran into submission to the regional peace deals that Trump has lined up.

President Trump: “…to win this, they win it quickly but win it, and there are many people I’m just watching uh some of the news, most people say it’s already been won. It’s just a question of when. When do we stop? We don’t want to let it regrow, and ideally would like to see somebody in there that knows what they’re doing. In other words, they can build a country. Now one other thing, we can hit sections of Tehran and other places that, if you do it, it’ll be almost impossible for them to rebuild their country. And we don’t want that. But we can take apart their electric capacity within one hour, and it would take them 25 years to rebuild it. So ideally, we’re not going to be doing that. Thank you very much.”

And in doing so, Trump is very clear that the Americans do not need anyone else. They will get on with the job themselves.

I’m almost doing it in some cases, not because we need them, but because I want to find out how they react. Because I’ve been saying for years that if we ever did need them, they won’t be there. Not all of them, but they won’t be there. I was very surprised with the United Kingdom. Because the United Kingdom...two weeks ago, I said, why don’t you send some ships over? And he really didn’t want to do it. I said, you don’t want to do it. We’ve been with you. You’re our oldest ally. And we spend a lot of money on, you know, NATO and all of these things to protect you. I mean, we’re protecting them. We’re working with them on Ukraine. Ukraine’s thousands of miles away, separated by a vast ocean. We don’t have to do that, but we did it. Well, Biden did it. I mean, I have to be honest with you, Biden. We don’t need anybody.”

This is why the often hysterical reaction against Trump’s plans by corporate media is not so relevant. Trump has even mocked corporate media for being ignorant of the operational details anyhow.

President Trump: “You mean to go in and get it?”

Journalist: “Yes, sir.”

President Trump: “Why would I tell you a thing like that? You know, I can’t stand reporters. Sir, will you attack Kargh Island? Will you occupy Kargh Island? They ask me these questions. And I don’t want to be mean, but they’re stupid questions. If any president answered those questions, they shouldn’t be president.”

Indeed, such is the American military dominance that there is only one way this conflict can go. Iran will eventually surrender.

The Middle East will be settled in the way that we’re currently witnessing for it to emerge eventually its own sphere of influence led by the Sunni Muslim Arabs of the region. Russia gets its own sphere of influence and Ukraine will be settled in Russia’s favour and China will get its own sphere of influence and Taiwan will be settled probably in China’s favour. So you end up with a Russian sphere, a Chinese sphere, a NATO stroke Western sphere and a Middle Eastern sphere”

4) Regional Acquiescence

As we have stated from the onset, Iran’s surrender will be hastened by Sunni Muslim Arabs who have turned their backs on the Iranian theocracy after it started to bomb them during the holy month of Ramadan.

Because of this, they have gone from being neutral to actively encouraging the US to finish the job.

“Gulf Arab states did not ask the U.S. to go to war with Iran, but many are now urging it not to stop short by leaving the Islamic ​Republic still able to threaten the Gulf’s oil lifeline and the economies that depend on it, three Gulf sources told Reuters. At the same time, these sources and five Western and Arab diplomats said Washington ‌was pressing Gulf states to join the U.S.-Israeli war. According to three of them, President Donald Trump wants to show regional backing for the campaign, to bolster its international legitimacy as well as support at home. ‘There is a wide feeling across the Gulf that Iran has crossed every red line with every Gulf country,’ said Abdulaziz Sager, chairman of the Saudi-based Gulf Research Center and familiar with government thinking. ‘At first we defended them and opposed the war,’ he said. ‘But once they began directing strikes at us, they became an enemy. There is no other way to classify them’.”

The Saudis are still threatening military retaliation, against the country that is bombing them, Iran not Israel.

Today, the Saudis directly responded to the (now deceased) Iranian Security Chief Ali Larijani’s call for “Islamic unity”, with incredulity.

Here, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan can be seen ridiculing Iran’s claims to lead the Islamic world.

Lebanon Bans Iranian Terror Group Hezbollah & Seeks Peace Talks With Israel as Region Unites Against Iran

1) Lebanon Bans Hezbollah & Seeks Peace With Isreal

In response to US and Israeli strikes on their country, the Shia-Islamist theocrats in Iran declared a new global jihad against America.

The Telegraph reports 1st March 2026:

But things didn’t quite turn out like that.

The remainder of this Radical Dispatch explains why. Read on.

A starting point is grasping the almost-impossible-to-grasp Iranian reaction after they were struck by the US and Israel. Absurdly, instead of reserving the majority of their firepower for striking back at those that struck them, the Iranian theocrats somehow thought it would be a good idea to start bombing their Sunni Muslim Arab neighbours, during the holy month of Ramadan. A prerequisite for any global jihad against America is a ready supply of devout Muslims. Perhaps it was not the best idea to spend your time during the holy month of Ramadan bombing the very people you are asking to fight for you.

This is why the Sunni Muslim Arab world and the Arab world generally are upset with Iran, because for reasons that that they're probably themselves now, well, we know they are because they formally apologised, but for reasons that even themselves they're probably regretting, they decided that in the first hours of the war, after being attacked by the US and Israel, the best thing to do in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan was attack their neighbours, 10 times more than the country that attacked them, which was Israel. If you look at this graph, that's 10 times more missiles that they sent to the UAE than they sent to Israel in the middle of Ramadan. And they somehow thought that by declaring a jihad and telling all Muslims to rally behind them, it would work while they're bombing Muslims in Ramadan. It is crazy."

Contrary to the grandiose expectations of the Iranian theocrats, not only did the majority of the world’s Muslims refuse to join their ‘jihad’, but so wary has the Arab world become with war, that they started moving in completely the other direction.

Instead of backing Iran, Lebanon went so far as to ban Iran’s proxy terrorist militia Hezbollah, and - in an unprecedented move - openly asked Israel to agree a ‘permanent peace’ with them.

CNN reports 10th March 2026:

“In a remarkable statement Monday afternoon, Lebanon called for direct talks with Israel on ‘permanent arrangements for security and stability on our borders,’ while accusing the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah of betraying the country.”

This astonishing move occurred because after the US and Israel hit Iran, Iran instructed their proxy militia Hezbollah to attack Israel from Lebanon, which they did. This caused Israel to mount a renewed ground incursion into Lebanon. Just as Hamas under Yahya Sinwar did to Gaza on October 7th, Hezbollah’s unilateral attack had effectively provided Israel with the perfect excuse to reinvade Lebanon. None of this happened with the Lebanese government’s approval, who were understandably furious at Hezbollah.

CNN reports 10th March 2026:

“Lebanese President Joseph Aoun…leveled sharp criticism at Hezbollah and Israel for what he called ‘an attempt to corner my country.’ He accused Israel of showing ‘no respect for the laws of war, nor for international laws.’ Israel’s assault on Lebanon has displaced more than 600,000 people and killed more than 400, including scores of women and children, Aoun said. But it is his criticism of Hezbollah that is significant. Calling the Shiite Muslim group ‘an armed faction … that places no value on Lebanon’s interest nor on the life of its people,’ Aoun said Hezbollah ‘wanted to achieve the fall of the State of Lebanon, under aggression and chaos.’ He accused the group of working ‘for the sake of the calculations of the Iranian regime’.”

Rushing to contain the fallout, Lebanon’s president then banned Hezbollah, labelled them treacherous and openly declared his country’s desire for a permanent peace with Israel.

CNN reports 10th March 2026:

Lebanese President Joseph “Aoun called for a new initiative, backed by the international community, which would establish a truce between Israel and Lebanon while helping the Lebanese armed forces disarm Hezbollah and confiscate its weaponry. The initiative would put in a place a ‘complete truce’ with a halt to Israeli attacks as the two countries begin ‘direct negotiations under international sponsorship’ to achieve a ‘final cessation of hostile acts’ and ‘permanent arrangements for security and stability on our borders.’ Under Aoun’s idea, Israel would gradually withdraw from the territories it has occupied in southern Lebanon, with its forces to be replaced by the Lebanese military. Last week, Lebanon’s government declared Hezbollah’s military activities illegal, but it does not have the force required to effectively disarm Hezbollah on its own..”

As we said in last week’s Dispatch, the Iranian theocrats overplayed their hand.

Lebanon’s stance is not an isolated incident, but a weathervane for region-wide Arab frustrations at Iran’s increasingly aggressive regional colonialism.

In Lebanon, they founded a terrorist militia that effectively runs the south of the country, called Hezbollah. What happened is after the missile strikes on Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon decided to retaliate on behalf of their masters in Iran by launching missiles into Israel. So, of course, Israel began an incursion into Lebanon. But the key fact here is that the Hezbollah attack into Israel from Lebanon was not approved by the Lebanese government. And that is why we end up with this CNN headline. And that is the Lebanese government President Joseph Aoun, being absolutely disgusted at Hezbollah’s actions, ended up banning them, which is something that that country was unable to do up until this moment, completely banned Hezbollah and then declared that they want to enter into permanent peace negotiations with Israel. It is a complete about turn on behalf of the Lebanese government, and they have very clearly defined their enemy in this instance as being the treacherous, in their own words, the treacherous Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah.”

2) Syria Pledges Support to Lebanon Against Iran

Syria too has a long grudge against Hezbollah. It was not too long ago that Iran had dispatched its terrorist militia into Syria to quash the popular uprising against their Iranian-client, the Assad family dynasty. It is not hard to fathom why, then, the Syrians pledged support to their neighbour, Lebanon.

Hezbollah responded to Syria in the way that Iran responded to the Gulf Arabs, by bombing them, during Ramadan.

Again, bombing Muslims is not a very good way of rallying Muslims under your leadership.

But the brutal history of repression by Iran against Syria meant that Syria was always going to refuse rallying behind the Iranian theocrats. Syria’s highest religious authority, Mufti Osama al-Rifai explains.

Mufti of Syria Osama al-Rifai: “Firstly, ‘there is no hand but that the hand of God is above it, and there is no oppressor but that he will be afflicted by a greater oppressor’. This is the evidence from traditions from the Messenger God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Now, I will not take too long, there are many traditions that contain this meaning. You may ask, ‘why does God pit oppressors against oppressors?’ So that God does not burden us with fighting them. God will deal with them and free us from both. And we should stop at this point, because the oppressors are fighting each other. However, emotionally and morally we should feel sympathy for our non-Sasanian brothers in Iran, and they are numerous. We feel sorrow for them and pray for mercy for their dead, and for healing for the wounded. May God grant them well-being.”

3) Iranian Theocrats Apologise For Bombing Arabs

Arab outrage at Iran is understandable. Here is a representation of how many times Iranian theocrats bombed Arabs, who did not attack them, versus how many times they bombed the country that had attacked them, Israel.

By now, and as was already extensively refuted in last week’s Dispatch, the lie that Iran was bombing only the US bases in Sunni Muslim Arab lands was running painfully thin.

And the lie was now publicly being called out as a lie by the parties concerned.

“Iran’s claims that its attacks in the Gulf are aimed at US military bases are false, a top UAE diplomat has said, warning that missile and drone strikes have instead been hitting civilian infrastructure and vital facilities. In a post on X on Wednesday, Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said the number of missiles and drones launched reveals a reality different from Tehran’s narrative. ‘Iran’s aggression lies when it claims that the targets are US military bases in the Gulf,’ Gargash wrote. He said the strikes have been targeting civilian infrastructure without regard for civilians and innocent people.”

So bad has it got for the Iranian theocrats that they were forced to issue a humiliating public apology for their actions.

Interim President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian: “I need to apologise on behalf of myself to our neighbouring countries that have come under attack by Iran. Because of the vicious assault on us, we lost our supreme leader, our compatriots and loved ones. Our armed forces, when their commanders were gone, conducted the operations that were necessary and protected our country with strength. We do not intend to conduct an assault on neighbouring countries. And like I’ve said before, they are our brothers. We have to be hand in hand with our brothers in peace. And the Interim Council approved a decision yesterday. That decision was relayed to our forces that they should no longer attack neighbouring countries unless there is an attack on Iran staged on their soil.”

And even though the new Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei is desperately seeking damage control, his lie is already exposed.

It didn’t help the lie much that their own regime propagandist Marandi was gleefully posting video of Emirati civilian infrastructure, such as the airport, being bombed.

So if there is no doubt that the Iranian regime was in fact attacking the civilian infrastructure of their Sunni Muslim Arab neighbours, the only question remaining becomes: why?

4) Regional Arabs & Muslims Unite…Against Iran

Due to Iran’s own absurd and aggressive behaviour, Sunni Muslim Arabs not only refused to rally behind Iran in their so-called ‘jihad’ against America, but instead started rallying around each other and against the Iranian theocracy, not against Israel. Last week’s Radical Dispatch made this forecast.

Here is the Arab League condemning Iran’s ‘treacherous’ and ‘massive strategic mistake’.

Egypt went further, demanding a joint Arab force arise in response.

Al-Ahram Online reports 8th March 2026:

“A foreign ministry statement said that Abdelatty made the remarks during a virtual, ministerial-level extraordinary session of the Arab League Council, held and chaired by the United Arab Emirates, to discuss the ongoing military escalation and attacks affecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a number of Arab states. During the meeting, Abdelatty stressed the need to activate the concept of Arab national security to safeguard the sovereignty and stability of Arab countries, noting that stronger mechanisms of collective Arab coordination are required to address current threats effectively. The Egyptian foreign minister also expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with the Gulf states, Jordan, and Iraq in confronting the Iranian attacks, stressing Egypt’s categorical condemnation and complete rejection of the assaults, as well as any justifications offered to defend them.”

Losing patience, the Saudi’s began threatening a direct response to Iran.

As did the UAE, while labelling Iran as ‘the enemy’ for the first time.

Sunni Muslim-majority country Turkey, too, issued a formal warning to Iran.

Turkish President Erdogan: “In the context of today’s events, I would like to reiterate once again that persistence and stubbornness in error should be avoided. We will continue to monitor developments in coordination with NATO and our other allies, and take additional measures to strengthen our security. Subsequently, the necessary warnings were given to the Iranian authorities. However, I must emphasise the following point here. Despite our sincere warnings, actions that will jeopardise Türkiye’s friendship are being taken.”

The Qataris expressed their total sense of betrayal by Iran, warning that their behaviour had ‘destroyed everything’.

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani: “big sense of betrayal. This is and this is the second time that’s that’s why it’s also like for us, it’s been something really significant to see the attack which was showing that being pre-planned, like once the war started, just maybe an hour after the start of the war, Qatar and other Gulf countries being attacked right away. And all of us before this war and repeatedly, we’ve been saying and repeating that we are not going to take part of any attacks or any wars against our neighbours. We would like to see a peaceful neighborhood. We were helping Iran and the United States in reaching diplomatic solutions. But this miscalculation by the Iranians to attack the Gulf countries has destroyed everything, actually. We would be like the glimpse of hope to bring some diplomatic solutions to the current conflict. And to be attacked by one of the parties of that conflict, we will prioritise, of course, defending our country and making sure that our people’s lives goes normally. And as much as possible, they don’t feel these threats coming to our countries.”

So deep was the sense of betrayal that the Kuwaitis bitterly lamented the loss of a ‘friend’.

While the Bahrainis even started supplicating to God against Iran in their nightly Ramadan prayers.

So much for Iran leading an ‘Islamic jihad’ against America.

In what can only be described as sheer ideological madness, Iran even decided to attack their (decidedly non-Islamist) Shia-Muslim majority neighbour, Azerbaijan.

The Azeris were not happy.

Azerbaijan President Aliyev: “We are ready to show our strength against the Eastern power and let them not forget this in Iran. And this terrorist act they committed, along with all other ugly factors, is a great example of ingratitude. As soon as the recent events occurred, we sent them a message and expressed our condolences. The Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke with his colleague on my instructions. I went to their embassy and expressed my position to offer my condolences. However, no head of state except me has ever visited any Iranian embassy. In other words, not appreciating this, putting it down, behaving like vile ungrateful people does not bring honour to anyone. And these dishonourable people, those who committed this terrorist act against us, will regret it. Let them not test our strength. Those who wanted to test our strength had their heads broken with an iron fist. Today’s incident will have the same result.”

5) This War Will Be Contained

As should by now be quite clear, the Iranian theocrats have a high regard for their own self-righteousness and are therefore prone to making strategic errors clothed in ideological certainty.

Iran’s demand that all countries expel their US ambassadors before being permitted to use the Hormuz strait is an example of the high regard they hold their capabilities in.

This is a trait that all ideologues share, which is why such grandiosity is reminiscent of Iran’s warmongering counterparts in the US and Israel.

Still, the world is learning to ignore people like this.

Ignoring the warhawks by refusing to be dragged into an ever widening and further deepening conflict is exactly what the Sunni Muslim Arabs did. Iran’s attempt at expanding the conflict by triggering regional chaos backfired. Sunni Muslim Arabs did not join the war to fight back. Instead they acted diplomatically, to isolate the Iranian theocrats.

This has been noticed by Brazilian Ju Jitsu world champion, and social media commentator Jake Shields.

Perhaps Mr Shields could find the answer to his question around Sunni Muslim scepticism towards Iran, in Iran’s own long history of collaboration with globalists at the CIA.

Off Guardian reports 7th March 2026:

Either way, the Iranian regime’s plan fell flat. There was no global ‘jihad’ and Sunni Muslim Arabs did not rise up against their own rulers to support Iran.

Instead, the world condemned Iran’s aggression against its neighbours, including at the UN.

Seeing the writing on the wall, even Iran’s Sunni-Islamist allies in Britain began to back track on their previous gung-ho support for Iran’s war.

The nail in the coffin was laid today by China, who also came out and condemned Iran for attacking the Gulf Arab states.

Iran Replies to Israeli Strikes by Attacking Sunni Muslim Arabs & the UK

1) Iranian Ayatollah Khamenei Killed

The US and Israel have launched an attack on the Iranian theocracy that resulted in the death of its Supreme Leader Ayotollah Khamenei, and the decapitation of the country’s entire leadership.

Khamenei joined the kingdom of heaven by drinking the nectar of martyrdom in the holy month of Ramadan. The Supreme National Security Council has issued a statement to this city in this regard.”

Though Khamenei is dead, there remains much to do.

Here is our explanation of President Trump’s ‘strategic intervention’ approach to foreign policy.

GB News Host Bev Turner: “I’m delighted to say now though, the expert on this topic, political activist and journalist Maajid Nawaz. Maajid, thank you so much for giving us your time this evening on what will no doubt turn out to be a historic day. Maajid, your assessment of events of today and what does this mean now going forward? I know it’s a broad question, but I want to bring to this your own expertise and insight.”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, thank you, Bev. And I want to also, first of all, begin by expressing my condolences to all those who have fallen victim to these strikes. It’s never the intention of any action that is ever taken to target anything other than military targets. But of course, sometimes the inevitable occurs in war. So there are some victims that we should consider.

Now, to the question, I think that what’s going on here is historic, and I confer with many of your previous guests, we’re in a moment that is truly historic. We could well be seeing the end of - not necessarily the Iranian theocracy, though possibly - but certainly the end of the current incarnation of it. And what I mean by that is, of course, as happened in Venezuela with Maduro, and as happened in Syria with Assad, the way President Trump operates is he doesn’t make moves such as this without previously having struck a deal on the inside. If we have learned anything about President Trump when it comes to military action, he’s not a neocon warmonger, but neither is he a hippie with flowers in his mouth, Bev. The man believes in strategic interventions. If you remember the ‘mother of all bombs’ (MOAB) that he dropped in Afghanistan, if you remember the limited US strikes in Syria to destroy and obliterate the ISIS leadership under President Trump. The man believes in strategic interventions, and the strategic intervention in Venezuela in the taking of Maduro captive, is another recent example of that. But what happened in Syria is a more opaque version of the same thing. A deal was struck, the Russian Navy withdrew and abandoned Assad, and Syria exchanged hands from the Iranian, theocratic and Russian sphere of influence into the NATO sphere of influence. So with all of that said, Bev, I think that that’s precisely to say that President Trump works with that kind of strategy, that’s precisely what’s happening here. Of course, it’s bad. Of course, there are victims and we feel terrible for anyone that loses their life in war. And that includes those that Iran randomly decided to attack after this. And that includes all of the Sunni Arab Gulf countries, that the Iranians, for some reason, have decided are legitimate targets. Of course, they struck cities that didn’t have U.S. military bases. So that excuse doesn’t stand up when it comes to what they did in the Sunni world. And we condemn that action entirely. So back to what Now, what could be going on is that with the death of Khamenei, as appears to be the case, is confirmed. And we’ve just heard it from yourself as well the president confirmed it. If we enter into a post-Khamenei Iran, then a deal, as happened in Syria and Venezuela, could have been made, for example, with the vice president, First Vice President Arif to take the position the regime stays intact as happened in Venezuela as happened in other areas of strategic intervention like Afghanistan with the Moab, the regime stays intact, but the tone of that regime is renewed by the leader that replaces it. So as with Venezuela, they started opening business ties with the U.S. It could well be that the first vice president Arif, comes to terms with Israel and with the United States on whatever it was that they couldn’t agree on in these peace negotiations. And all of this, Trump would have known prior to action because he does not believe in all-out war. And the last thing I’ll say, Bev, and I’ve spoken a lot here, forgive me, I do not think, do not believe the black pillers. We are not going to enter WWIII. That’s not going to happen. We are not about to enter Armageddon, nor the end of the world. There are plans in place for moments like this. And I believe what we’re witnessing is the execution of such plans. What we could end up with on the other side of this is a regime that comes to terms with the demands of the U.S. president in terms of nuclear non-proliferation. And we end up with a grand regional settlement because the only obstacle to this was this regime. The Saudis themselves have now come to that as well, and have declared all support to the U.S. efforts, including war if necessary, because of Iran’s absolutely absurd reaction after the strike. So that’s, I think, a fair summary of what, in our view, is going on.”

GB News host Bev Turner: “You’ve been saying for, correct me if I’m wrong, but at least a year now that you think you were looking at a grand regional settlement. You think the Middle East is about to enter a period of prolonged peace, the likes of which we’ve probably not seen, well, we’ve not seen in our lifetime. Is that looking more likely or less likely tonight, Maajid?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, I’m going to say something counterintuitive, but you probably could predict my answer Bev, I think it’s looking more likely. And the reasons for that is that one of the unintended consequences of Iran’s calculated escalation, Iran deliberately escalated by attacking Sunni Muslim Arab Gulf countries who were not involved. Saudi Arabia had prohibited the US from using its air bases prior to this attack, which is why they’re so upset with what Iran did. So their calculated escalation was done in order to drag everybody else into the war, because when they’re fighting for their existential existence, it suits them to have as many parties for and against them in the war, because if you broaden the conflict, Russia gets involved, Iran has more supporters and therefore more chance of surviving. So that’s what they tried to do. What’s happened instead is because of the Pakistani-Saudi-Turkey joint military defence pact, when Saudi has said now that it would support the U.S. in any war effort necessary, because they’re so upset with what Iran, literally bombed them, right? So Saudi has said to America, we will support you by any means necessary, that drags in nuclear Pakistan because of the defence pact they signed about six months ago. Now, when you end up with that kind of escalation, Iran, I think miscalculated here, the only option left, and they are logical people, Persians can be very logical, right? The only option left does mean come to terms in a post-Khamenei context and agree a peace deal. I do think that’s what’s going to happen. Iran cannot oppose countries such as Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia when they come together, as they have done, in a mutual defence pact. It’s just too much for Iran to deal with.”

GB News Bev Turner: “I told you he’s the best person on this topic everybody Maajid Nawaz summing it up brilliantly, and hopefully giving people reason to sleep better tonight rather than worse, and that’s what I was wanting us to do is to allay the fears of people in the UK that this is the start of world war three. I know that everybody at home in the UK is incredibly worried about this situatio,n and thank you Maajid, I really appreciate it, what fascinating insight, my friend. I will speak to you very soon. Goodbye. Right. I’m delighted to say that my panel are here waiting very patiently.”

Our view appears to have been confirmed by subsequent reporting on the chance of deals being struck.

Meanwhile, the Iranians were already back-channelling negotiations.

3) UK Response

The UK’s response has been particularly weak under Prime Minister Starmer, who initially took the decision to not cooperate with Trump and Netanyahu on the strikes, only to embarrassingly backtrack after Iran decided to respond to the American and Israeli strikes by attacking the UK and Sunni Muslim Arabs.

PM Keir Starmer: “I spoke to you about the situation in the Gulf and explained that the United Kingdom was not involved in the strikes on Iran. That remains the case. Over the last two days, Iran has launched sustained attacks across the region at countries who did not attack them. They’ve hit airports and hotels where British citizens are staying. This is clearly a dangerous situation. We have at least 200,000 British citizens in the region, residents, families on holiday, and those in transit. I ask all our people in the region, to please register your presence and follow foreign office travel advice. I know this is a deeply worrying time and we will continue to do all we can to support you. Our armed forces who are located across the region are also being put at risk by Iran’s actions. Yesterday, Iran hit a military base in Bahrain, narrowly missing British personnel. The death of the supreme leader will not stop Iran from launching these strikes. Their approach is becoming even more reckless and more dangerous to civilians. Our decision that the UK would not be involved with the strikes on Iran was deliberate, not least because we believe that the best way forward for the region and for the world is a negotiated settlement, one in which Iran agrees to give up any aspirations to develop a nuclear weapon. But Iran is striking British interests nonetheless and putting British people at huge risk along with our allies across the region. That is the situation we face today. Our partners in the Gulf have asked us to do more to defend them. And it is my duty to protect British lives. We have British jets in the air as part of coordinated defensive operations, which have already successfully intercepted Iranian strikes. But the only way to stop the threat is to destroy the missiles at source, in their storage depots, or the launchers which are used to fire the missiles. The United States has requested permission to use British bases for that specific and limited defensive purpose. We have taken the decision to accept this request to prevent Iran firing missiles across the region, killing innocent civilians, putting British lives at risk, and hitting countries that have not been involved. The basis of our decision is the collective self-defence of long-standing friends and allies and protecting British lives. That is in accordance with international law, and we are publishing a summary of our legal advice. We are not joining these strikes, but we will continue with our defensive actions in the region. And we will also bring experts from Ukraine together with our own experts to help Gulf partners shoot down Iranian drones attacking them. I want to be very clear. We all remember the mistakes of Iraq. And we have learned those lessons. We were not involved in the initial strikes on Iran. And we will not join offensive action now. But Iran is pursuing a scorched earth strategy. So we are supporting the collective self-defence of our allies and our people in the region. Because that is our duty to the British people. It is the best way to eliminate the urgent threat and prevent the situation spiralling further. This is the British government protecting British interests and British lives.”

We then appeared on GB News UK with Michelle Dewbury to challenge Labour MP Barry Gardiner’s defence of Keir Starmer’s above weak response.

Barry Gardiner MP (Labour): “And of course, he was right to pay tribute to our armed forces. And he said in that statement that we owe it to our armed forces personnel that when we put them in harm’s way, they have the right to know that it is in pursuit of a lawful purpose. And I think that’s right. Sending young men and women into conflict is not something that any government should do lightly and they should not do it unless they are clear that what they’re asking them to do is lawful. Now, I think there is a concern, I have a concern, with the way in which he, in his published broadcast statement, talked about a defensive strike being allowed from UK bases, and he said that we didn’t participate in the initial attack but we were prepared to have the US use our bases for a defensive strike. Well, I’m afraid words have meaning in the English language, and defensive strike is actually two antonyms. It’s a contradiction in terms, a defensive strike. Because what you do have is you have something called a preemptive strike. But in any language, a preemptive strike is actually an attack. It’s an attack to stop an attack coming from the other direction, but it is an attack, and it’s that initial use of force. So I think there was a confusion in the position that the prime minister adopted, both saying that we won’t actually engage in the initial attack, and then saying that we will allow our bases to be used for a defensive strike.”

Micheelle Dewbury: “Maajid?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Well, I think a response would have been nice. I mean, if our, as is the case, our own base has been attacked by the Iranians and the Iranians seem to be attacking whoever they can get their hands on in the region, us, in Cyprus, and clearly their strategy is they’re seeking to expand this war and bring everybody else into it in the hopes that the wider the conflict, the more of a chance that they have to survive. If they can drag the Russians and the Chinese in, they get the big boys on their side, perhaps their regime doesn’t collapse. That’s probably what they’re up to. But frankly, if they’ve attacked our own sovereign base, then there does need to be some form of response. And just watching Keir Starmer and the way in which he presented, both before our own, and our allies, were attacked and after they were attacked, it looks incredibly weak, Barry. You’ve got to admit that...”

Barry Gardiner MP (Lab): “No, I think... I don’t think it looks weak, but I take your point about...

Maajid Nawaz: “There’s no response....after we have been attacked... What do you think we should do?”

Barry Gardiner MP (Lab): “There was one drone that attacked the Akrotiri base. And the Akrotiri base was not being used.”

Zia Yusuf (Reform): “But hold on, Barry. Two more were en route and about to hit that same base and were shot down by Cypriot defensive missiles. Not our own. So I’m sorry, that doesn’t hold water.”

Barry Gardiner MP (Lab): “Well, they were shot down going over, actually. So that’s not the point. But what I was saying here is that, actually the decision that Starmer had made to allow defensive strikes from British bases, I think was taken before those strikes happened. Now it’s convenient in a sense for him that subsequently that base was attacked in that way and therefore you can say ‘well all the more reason’. But at that point, you do say, well, what is the difference between saying that you have a defensive posture, and an attacking posture?”

Maajid Nawaz: “Sorry, this sounds very nice, right? But what do you think, as somebody that’s obviously a representative of our government, led by Keir Starmer, what should we do now that our base has been attacked by the Iranians?”

Barry Gardiner “Yeah. I think we have a legitimate interest in self-defence and if we are under immediate threat, we have the right to defend ourselves and that would include by attacking Iran and joining...”

Maajid Nawaz: “So does this require a reply? If somebody lobs a bomb over at us, do we just sit there and do nothing?”

Barry Gardiner MP (Lab): “No, we don’t sit there and do nothing, and that’s not what I’ve said. I’ve said that we have, under international law, we do have the right to self-defence.”

Maajid Nawaz: “What does that mean? What do we do?”

GB News host Michelle Dewbury: “Let’s just cut to the chase. Do you think that the UK should be now striking back at Iran?”

Barry Gardiner MP (Lab): “I think we should be trying to stay as far out of this as possible because I believe that the whole operation was an illegal operation. I think what’s happened is that the Americans have then ensured that there is a response. Iran was attacked by the Americans. There was a response from Iran, which encapsulated all the countries in the region including including an air base of ours which is in the region. And at that point, one has to say that the Americans have precipitated that response.”

4) Sunni Muslim Arab Response

The Sunni Muslim Arabs of the region who were attacked by Iran were unified in their condemnation, with Saudi Arabia declaring that it would military support the US war if necessary.

Al-Arabiyya reports 1st March 2026:

“Saudi Arabia ‘expressed its strongest condemnation of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks targeting the Riyadh and Eastern Province regions, which were repelled,’ the foreign ministry said in a statement. ‘In light of this unjustified aggression, the Kingdom affirms that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory, citizens and residents, including with the option of responding to the aggression’.”

Iran’s miscalculation was to attack its Sunni Muslim Arab neighbours, in response to America and Israel attacking it.

BBC reports 1st March 2026:

Iran’s claim that they were striking back only at US bases does not hold up, not least because - in Arab lands and in the UK - none of the bases concerned were used in the initial joint US-Israeli strike on Iran. As the below list highlights, many of Iran’s attacks were also against civilian targets in Arab lands:

i) United Arab Emirates (UAE) - al-Dhafra airbase. One dead in Abu Dhabi from falling debris of intercepted missile.

Arab News reports 28th February 2026:

“Falling debris killed a Pakistani civilian in Abu Dhabi, UAE authorities said. Later smoke and flames rose from Dubai's Palm Jumeirah development after a building was damaged there.”

ii) Bahrain - US Navy Fifth Fleet HQ in Manama

The BBC reports 28th February 2026:

“Iran has targeted the US Navy base in Bahrain, highlighting gaps in air defences, which will worry Washington and its allies in the region. Videos appear to show missiles and drones striking the vicinity of the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.”

iii) Qatar - al-Udeid Air Base

Reuters reports 4th March 2026:

“Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi ​told his Qatari ‌counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani that Iranian ​missile attacks were ​directed at U.S. interests ⁠and not at ​Qatar. Qatar’s top diplomat ‘categorically rejected’ ​that claim and called for an immediate halt to ​Iran’s attacks, the ​Qatari Foreign Ministry said on ‌X. Sheikh ⁠Mohammed bin Abdulrahman said his country would confront any aggression ​with ​its ‘right ⁠to self-defence,’ stressing that Doha has ​always been inclined ​towards ⁠dialogue and diplomacy conducted in good faith.”

iv) Kuwait - International airport

Asharq al-Awsat reports 28th February 2026:

“A drone struck Kuwait's international airport on Saturday, the civil aviation authority said, causing minor injuries as Iran retaliated across the Gulf for US and Israeli strikes.”

v) Jordan - Muwaffaq al-Salti airbase

The Guardian reports 1st March 2026:

“…In Jordan, fires blazed in the northern city of Irbid as missile shrapnel fell from the sky and caught alight.”

vi) Syria: Suwayda industrial zone.

Local eye witnesses report that the cause was intercepted missile debris from Iran. The state has downplayed this, perhaps to avoid pressure to join an all out war after just having come out of one.

Shafaq News reports 28th February 2026:

“Five people, including two children, were killed and three others wounded on Saturday when a powerful explosion tore through the industrial zone of Suwayda in southern Syria, as regional hostilities between Israel, the United States, and Iran spilled into Syrian airspace….The cause of the explosion remains disputed. Suwayda’s government media directorate said the detonation was triggered by a missile left behind by the former Syrian regime...A separate local source told Shafaq News the explosion resulted from debris of an Iranian missile intercepted in the sky, which then fell onto a building in the industrial district.”

vii) Saudi Arabia - Riyadh & Prince Sultan airbase in the East.

Gulf News reports 4th March 2026:

“Saudi Arabia has warned it reserves the ‘full right’ to respond to blatant Iranian aggression after a series of drone and missile strikes targeted Riyadh and the Kingdom’s Eastern Province.”

viii) Iraq - US Consulate in Erbil

Jerusalem post reports 3rd March 2026:

“Iran is seeking to pre-empt any uprising by Kurdish opposition groups in Iran by striking at their bases in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, while also using its Iranian-backed militias in Iraq to increase attacks on US forces in the Kurdistan region and to threaten Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and other countries.”

ix) Oman - Duqm commercial port

Gulf News reports 1st March 2026:

“Iran expanded its retaliation campaign across the Gulf on Sunday, striking Oman for the first time since the conflict began and targeting an oil tanker off its coast, in a dramatic escalation that threatens to widen the regional war. The attack on Duqm commercial port marks the first direct Iranian strike on the sultanate — a long-time mediator in US-Iran talks that had until now avoided becoming a battlefield in the crisis.”

The below article maps all the countries attacked and tallies the casualties so far.

The Independent reports 4th March 2026:

Of course, once the above list is presented in such a way, the anger of Sunni Muslim Arab countries at being attacked is easy to understand.

Inconveniently for Iran, even the Palestinian Authority has condemned them.

As has their neighbour, Pakistan.

And Turkey:

And of course, Syria:

Lebanon went even further, totally banning the Iranian terrorist proxy Hezbollah:

Iran’s calculated escalation backfired, instead unifying the Gulf Arabs behind the US led strikes:

A response to Iran from Saudi Arabia remains expected. Attacking the Islamic Holy Land is no small heresy.

So why did Iran attack its Arab neighbours if they hadn’t attacked Iran?

The overt justification is that Iran targeted countries hosting US troops in their military bases. But as our above list demonstrates, Iran attacked bases that were not used to attack it. Iran also attacked civilian targets.

This was a deliberate calculated escalation. The strategic aim is that by expanding the theatre of war to include its regional Arab Muslim neighbours, Iran’s regime - with little to lose if it’s fighting for its own survival - seeks to escalate the cost of conflict. This action seeks to force the US to choose between a region in flames with the prospects of a wider war, or to acquiesce in any future negotiations with Iran. Iran is goading escalation by calculating that it if it is forced to fight, then it stands a better chance of survival if other countries are dragged into this war, both for it and against it.

This is similar to Israel’s ‘Samson option’. If you force a regime to fight for its existential survival, then it may seek to impose this cost onto you too. Causing regional chaos and provoking all out war is still seen as better than a total loss. Netanyahu plays a similar game.

This is why President Trump is in a very difficult situation.

Contrary to the Western Regressive Left assumption, Israel is not the only country in the region with expansionist aims. Both Iran under the Shia-Islamists, and Israel under the Likudniks-Zionists, are ideologically driven to seek conflict. Managing this situation is incredibly difficult, but necessary, for America.

Epstein Files: The Arrests Have Begun

1) The Prince & Dark Prince Arrested

i) The Dark Prince

Advisor to three British Prime Ministers, former British ambassador to Washington DC, known as ‘the Prince of Darkness’, and Epstein-friend Lord Peter Mandelson has been arrested by London’s Metropolitan police.

The Times reports 24th February 2026:

“Sir Keir Starmer faces questions about his political judgment in appointing Mandelson as ambassador despite knowing about Mandelson’s links to Epstein. The prime minister has said that Mandelson misled him about the extent of their friendship. Mandelson was arrested only days before a by-election in Gorton & Denton, in Manchester, that is considered crucial for Labour.”

Our regulars would have known that this day was coming since at least two year ago, despite the huge political cover up.

The implications of this arrest on British politics cannot be overstated. And the questions it raises about how and why Mandelson was permitted to reign in the shadows of British politics for so long should make all in Westminster pause for thought.

Six months ago the man that you can see in the pictures was the British ambassador to Washington. One of the maybe half dozen most powerful figures in this country, personally appointed by Keir Starmer against elements even of his own better judgment persuaded of it, we believe, by his then chief of staff Morgan Mcsweeney, because he was thought to be the only who could bridge the divide with Donald Trump’s White House after the US president returned to the White House for the second time. Peter Mandelson, believed to be the only person who could help Britain and sort out its trading and relationship with the US at this tricky time, today being taken away, as you can see, by police. Peter Mandelson has denied any wrongdoing, but I suspect there will be a lot of focus on those emails that we heard so much about, emails from the last time Gordon Brown was in the British government, when Peter Mandelson was in the British government, when Gordon Brown was Prime Minister, Peter Mandelson, then business secretary, alleged to have forwarded emails, that’s what the Epstein emails suggested, forwarded emails to Jeffrey Epstein, potentially containing confidential government material. The allegation that he tipped off Jeffrey Epstein about an impending EU bailout, and that he notified the financier about the activities of the British government and gave advice to big US bankers to mildly threaten the then UK Chancellor, the late Alistair Darling. All of those things likely to come under scrutiny. Peter Mandelson, not a figure shy of controversy, forced to resign from the British government twice when Tony Blair was prime minister. Once over a home loan scandal, once over his relationship with the Hinduja brothers. But this challenge facing Lord Mandelson is now of a different order with the police now, Metropolitan police now arresting him. It will go I think, the political ramifications of this will go to the very heart of Downing Street. Because once again, the focus will be on Keir Starmer’s decision to appoint somebody with a track record as checkered as Peter Mandelson’s politically, with those two resignations in knowledge that there was a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein that went after his conviction for relations with miners back in 2009. A relationship that possibly involved taking hospitality from Jeffrey Epstein in the early 2010s. All of that was known to Keir Starmer at the moment that he appointed him, the British ambassador, to Washington. The question that Labour MPs will and are asking is why take such a risk? Is it really the case that Peter Mandelson was the only person who could solve the conundrum of the UK relationship with Washington, particularly given that there was a talented incumbent in Karen Pierce already occupying that office. But she ended up being hurried out of the British residency in Washington to make way for peace to Mandelson because he was seen by Keir Starmer and his then chief of staff, Morgan McSweeney, as the only answer to the political question that Donald Trump’s second presidency posed. And yet that has turned out to look like a political misjudgment by the prime minister, who will now, like the rest of us, be watching these pictures.”

Mandelson’s arrest was not over the allegations of sexual abuse surrounding Epstein, but instead over specific concerns of revealing confidential government information to Epstein.

Proffering confidential information is often the result of being blackmailed or otherwise compromised, and the concern will be not only over the leaks themselves, but why Mandelson seemed so beholden to a known convicted sex offender. What leverage did Epstein have over Mandelson?

The Times of London has helpfully summarised the specific allegations that emerged from the recent US Department of Justice (DOJ) email releases.

The Times reports 23rd February 2026:

i) The first concern is Mandelson providing Epstein with advanced knowledge of the sale of some very large UK state assets.

ii) Mandelson also appears to have passed Epstein plans of a Eurozone bailout by the EU.

iii) In one particularly egregious exchange, Mandelson suggests to Epstein that the head of JP Morgan bank, Jamie Dimon (who, as of reporting, remains in position!) ‘mildly threaten’ the British Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Remaining oblivious as to the true story behind the threat, the late chancellor Alastair Darling subsequently confirmed in his own memoirs that this had actually happened.

iv) Leaking private emails is also a potential concern in any misconduct charge.

Mandelson’s provision of the above privileged information seems to have been rewarded by Epstein in the form of large cash payments.

The above leaves Mandelson with much to answer for. No wonder people are complaining that his actions amounted to treason.

The Daily Mail reports 22nd February 2026:

“A Cabinet minister insisted ‘all options’ are on the table today as a senior MP urged Parliament to launch a treason probe into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s links to Jeffrey Epstein. Bridget Phillipson said the Government is ready to do ‘whatever it takes’, but stressed action must wait until the police finish investigating. The comments came after former security minister Tom Tugendhat said a special committee of MPs, peers and retired judges should look into the implications for the state. He said the issues go ‘beyond what a court could reasonably consider’ - suggesting the inquiry should be able to summon witnesses and demand evidence. Dai Davies, a former head of Scotland Yard’s Royal Protection Command, has told the Mirror an independent inquiry led by a judge is needed.’”

So serious are the concerns that the Metropolitan police rushed to arrest Mandelson ahead of schedule, over a tip off provided by the Speaker of the House of Commons that he was planning to flee the country. In a spectacular turn of events, the police then appear to have released the identity of the Lord Speaker to Peter Mandelson, only then having to apologise for what they say was a mistake.

The Times reports 25th Feberuary 2026:

“Scotland Yard has apologised to the Commons Speaker for telling Lord Mandelson that he was the source of a claim that the peer planned to flee Britain for the British Virgin Islands. Officers were due to meet Sir Lindsay Hoyle in person on Wednesday afternoon and said sorry for the disclosure, which represents a significant breach of protocol. On Wednesday evening Scotland Yard issued a public apology to Hoyle for disclosing that he was the source of the claims. A spokesman said: ‘The Met has apologised to the Speaker of the House of Commons this afternoon for inadvertently revealing information during an investigation into allegations of misconduct in public office.’ Hoyle visited the British overseas territory and tax haven during recess last week. He was informed by a local source that the former ambassador planned to go to the islands — an allegation that Mandelson has denied as ‘complete fiction’.”

ii) The Prince, Andrew

Prince of Darkness, Lord Mandelson’s arrest was preceded by (now former) Prince Andrew’s arrest. And like Mandelson, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was also arrested for ‘misconduct in public office’.

The Guardian reports 19th February 2026:

“Andrew served as a UK trade envoy between 2001 and 2011. In this role he travelled globally and was given privileged access to senior government and business contacts around the world. In 2010, he appears to have forwarded government reports from visits to Vietnam, Singapore and China to Epstein, according to the recently published files.

The emails indicate that on 7 October 2010, Andrew appeared to send Epstein details of his official forthcoming trips as trade envoy to Singapore, Vietnam, Shenzhen in China and Hong Kong, where he was accompanied by business associates of Epstein. After the trip, on 30 November, he appeared to have forwarded official reports of those visits sent by his then special assistant, Amit Patel, to Epstein, five minutes after receiving them. The documents also appeared to show that Andrew forwarded Epstein information on investment opportunities in gold and uranium in Afghanistan. A briefing, prepared for Andrew by UK officials when he was a trade envoy and reported by the BBC, was said to have been forwarded to Epstein in December 2010 and includes a list of ‘high-value commercial opportunities’ in Helmand province. Under official guidance, trade envoys have a duty of confidentiality over sensitive, commercial or political information about their official visits. Being named in the Epstein files is not an indication of misconduct. Andrew has previously denied any wrongdoing in his associations with Epstein and rejected any suggestion he used his time as trade envoy to further his own interests.”

Both Lord Mandelson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were arrested under the English common law offence of ‘misconduct in public office’ which carries a maximum life sentence.

The Guardian reports 19th February 2026:

The family of Andrew accuser, the late Virgina Giuffre have welcomed this news.

The Independent reports 24th February 2026:

“The family of Virginia Giuffre has praised British authorities for ‘treating the Epstein files with the urgency they demand’ following the arrest of Lord Peter Mandelson on suspicion of misconduct in public office….In a statement reported by the BBC and other outlets, Giuffre’s brother, Sky Roberts, and his wife, Amanda Roberts, said: ‘As Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s family, we commend the British authorities for taking meaningful action and treating the Epstein files with the urgency they demand. While these arrests aren’t for the underlying exploitation, they are a crucial step toward truth and accountability. The contrast with the continued inaction in the United States is undeniable. Survivors deserve transparency, swift investigation, and real justice, no matter who is implicated’.”

2) Norwegian PM Arrested

The arrests were not restricted to the UK. In Norway, the former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland has been charged with ‘gross corruption’ over his ties with Epstein.

The BBC reports 12th February 2026:

“Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland has been charged with ‘gross corruption’ over his ties with the US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, police have said. The charge was brought after the Council of Europe lifted Jagland’s immunity, which he enjoyed because of his past diplomatic role…Emails released by the US government are thought to show that Jagland planned solo and family visits to Epstein’s homes in Paris, New York and Palm Beach after the billionaire was convicted of a child sex offence…As well as serving as prime minister from 1996 to 1997, Jagland is also a former head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee and spent a decade as secretary general of the Council of Europe….The Nordic country has seen several public figures drawn into the widening scandal, including Crown Princess Mette-Marit, diplomats Mona Juul and Terje Rød-Larsen, and chief executive of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Borge Brende.”

It is reported that he subsequently attempted to take his own life.

In last week’s Radical Dispatch we dedicated an entire section to Norway, warning that attention should be paid to why Trump was so focused on the Nobel peace prize.

It appears that this same man - Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland - who chaired the Nobel committee when they awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama for doing absolutely nothing, was beholden to Epstein and a regular visitor to his Island.

Again, Zero Hedge: ‘the man who shockingly awarded the newly elected Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, and who was chair of the Nobel Committee from 2009 to 2015, was an Epstein Ireland regular’. That is the Norwegian prime minister who’s now been charged and is rumoured to have subsequently attempted to take his own life. President Trump was correct again in singling out Norway and saying that they were corrupt. And it’s all now being revealed.”

3) Thousands More British Documents Will Be Released

If those implicated in this scandal breathed relief when the DOJ announced that their email disclosures were over, then what happened yesterday in Parliament will not bring any such comfort. Thousands of more British documents are now set to be released in March. Inconveniently for PM Starmer, this is in the two month lead period to local elections in the UK.

The Telegraph reports 24th February 2024:

This follows an intervention by the leader of the Liberal Democrats Sir Ed Davey, making use of a specific protocol known as a ‘humble address’ to parliament.

Liberal Democrat leader, Ed Davey: “In many ways this is first the first truly global scandal, from the White House in Silicon Valley to Oslo and Paris. But it’s also a deeply British scandal reaching right to the top of the British establishment. Because can there be many people more symbolic of the rot that eats away at the British establishment than the former Duke of York and Special Trade Envoy and the former Business Secretary, First Secretary of State and Ambassador to the United States? Their association with Epstein and their actions on his behalf while trusted with the privilege of public office are a stain on our country. Today we must begin to clean away that stain with the disinfectant of transparency, because whether it is the president of the united states and his commerce secretary or Peter Mandelson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor or Epstein himself, their victims and survivors have seen those responsible evade accountability and escape justice for far too long. I hope, I desperately hope that is ending now, and I hope the House will approve this motion.”

The demand is for the government to release all documents related to the former prince Andrew’s appointment as UK trade envoy, and any role that Mandelson may have had in this decision.

This is the Liberal Democrats using a bit of the time that they get to control Parliament, their opposition day motion today, and they will specifically ask for correspondence from Mandelson regarding the Andrew appointment. Essentially what the Lib Dems want to do is work out ties between the two friends of Jeffrey Epstein, Mandelson and Andrew, because it is thought that Mandelson lobbied for Andrew’s appointment as a trade envoy. So getting that into the open, I think is Ed Davies’ aim. So will it work? Well, I was messaging one pretty key member of the government last night about it all, about whether Labour could withstand such disclosure. And they just said, look, if I’m honest, I don’t see how the hell anyone would vote against it. So it doesn’t sound like the government are going to try and block it. It doesn’t sound like they would have the numbers to stop it. So it sounds as if another mass disclosure of hundreds or thousands of papers is on its way….”

Early on, it was known that the motion was unlikely to fail.

Sky News broadcaster: “…haven’t we, about the Lib Dems trying to get this ‘humble address’ in Parliament, where they want the government to be forced to potentially release information around the vetting and the kind of thinking behind hiring Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, as Trade Envoy….Now, this is really significant because actually, the last time we had this type of a fight with a ‘humble address’, it was a conservative ‘humble address’, that was the debate around releasing the details of the hiring and the vetting and the due diligence when Peter Mandelson was hired as UK ambassador to the US. And now the Lib Dems have done something slightly similar but very specifically around Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his appointment as a trade envoy a long time ago, 2001 to 2011….And of course, it doesn’t break with convention, although it normally would with a member of the royal family, because Andrew has been stripped of his titles. He’s no longer a senior working royal. And therefore, actually, MPs are able to debate Andrew in the Commons in a way that they wouldn’t be able to debate other members of the royal family. Now, Lindsay Hoyle, the Speaker of the House of Commons, has been very, very clear. when it comes to this ‘humble address’ that we now know the government is not going to oppose. MPs have to be incredibly careful about what they say to make sure they do not prejudice the police investigation that is potentially ongoing. We don’t know how long it’s going to last into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and, of course, now into Peter Mandelson, both arrested in the past few days. But nonetheless, the fact that the government is not opposing this, I think, is significant and shows that actually they understand the appetite, not only among the public, but also among MPs, to really scrutinise the hiring of these men.”

Ultimately, the government chose not to oppose the motion, for obvious reasons.

Chris Bryant MP: “But let me be clear from the outset, we support this motion today. Frankly, it is the least we owe the victims of the horrific abuse that was perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein and others. The abuse that was enabled, aided and abetted by a very extensive group of arrogant, entitled and often very wealthy individuals in this country and elsewhere. It’s not just the people who participated in the abuse. It’s the many, many more who turned a blind eye out of greed, familiarity or deference. To my mind, they too were complicit, just as complicit. And I welcome the reckoning that is coming to them now. I doubt there is anyone in this House who is not shocked and appalled by the recent allegations. Colleagues and many civil servants have told me their own stories of their interactions with Mr Mountbatten-Windsor and they all betray the same pattern. A man on a constant self-aggrandising and self-enriching hustle. A rude, arrogant and entitled man who could not distinguish between the public interest which he said he served, and his own private interest.”

As expected, the motion passed.

The Times reports 24th February 2026:

“The release of government files covering Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s appointment as trade envoy may reveal new details of Lord Mandelson’s attempt to influence the process….In April 2001, Mandelson contacted The Times to make the case for Andrew getting the job, saying that he was ‘well qualified’... As a result of the Liberal Democrats’ humble address — a parliamentary procedure that is a communication to the monarch from either the Commons or the Lords — on Tuesday, officials must now also look for links between Mandelson and Andrew’s appointment as envoy. They must also release any correspondence from Mandelson to relevant government departments or people relating to the appointment. The documents will also be expected to cover contact between Buckingham Palace, ministers and officials over Andrew’s appointment. It has previously been reported that Charles, then Prince of Wales, had reservations about his brother’s appointment, believing that Andrew would use the job to further his own interests. He is said to have been overruled by Queen Elizabeth, who wanted to find a meaningful role for Andrew after he left the navy.”

Starmer’s government will now need to brace for further impact.

4) Starmer is Next

The Epstein scandal is not going away anytime soon. In fact, it will only grow more troublesome for Starmer as elections approach this May. The scandal is very likely to eventually bring him down. The only question is when.

Questions around why Starmer appointed Mandelson despite knowing of his Epstein links continue to be posed. Particular interest has arisen around Starmer’s historic role in the cover up of sexual abuse crimes while Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Our regulars will be aware of Starmer’s role in the failure to prosecute Britain’s most notorious pedophile, the late Sir Jimmy Savile.

This week it has been revealed that Starmer was letting pedophiles off with mere written warnings while he was Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The Express reports 22nd February 2026:

In addition, the role that Starmer’s (now resigned) chief of staff Morgan McSweeney played in structuring the post-Corbyn Labour party in Mandelson’s (hence Epstein’s) image, will come under increased scrutiny.

The Guardian reports 23rd February 2026:

“Keir Starmer has opened a formal investigation into a Cabinet Office minister involved in falsely accusing journalists of having links to pro-Russian propaganda…Simons is under growing pressure about his commissioning of an American PR company, Apco, to examine the ‘sourcing, funding and origin’ behind a November 2023 story published by the Sunday Times that raised questions about £730,000 in undeclared donations to Labour Together. He has in recent days claimed he was disturbed to find the Apco report had delved into unnecessary information about one of the story’s journalists. But the emails show how, weeks after receiving the report, he was involved in naming the same journalist in an email to security officials.”

As we outlined in last week’s Dispatch, Mandelson had trained McSweeney in the secret ‘Excalibur’ database which held compromising information on Labour politicians in order to keep them in line. They also commissioned research against any journalist that questioned them.

5) The Clintons Are Next Too

Whereas in the UK, the two princes have been arrested, and Prime Minister Starmer is clearly in the crosshairs next, in the US there are yet to be any arrests even though there have been multiple high profile resignations.

The Clintons are well and truly in the crosshairs next. Thursday February 26th (today) is the reported date that Hillary Clinton is due to testify to Congress over her links top Epstein. Bill Clinton is reportedly due to testify the day after.

Maajid Nawaz for the WARRIOR CREED livestream: ”According to Insider Paper Online, the dates that Bill and Hillary Clinton are to testify on Epstein, and that is the 26th of February, Hillary Clinton. 27th of February, Bill Clinton. That’s coming up, folks. Today’s the 24th of February. So in two days, Hillary Clinton is due to testify. And then the day after that, Bill Clinton is due to testify in Congress. And that’s why we said a long time ago, we said in the Radical Dispatch: ‘Hey, Clintons, you’re next’. They are going to come under fire, just as in the UK, the two princes came under fire, and indeed Keir Starmer is in the spotlight to be next as well. And that’s because of this political cartoon, which really does articulate the problem fairly and accurately. Not one single person, it says, you can see that there on your screens right there, not one single person who paid to rape children on Epstein’s island has been arrested.”

The Times reports 3rd February 2026:

“The former president Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary have agreed to testify in person before Congress as part of its investigation into the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. They gave an eleventh-hour offer to appear before the oversight committee after the House prepared to vote to hold them in contempt. The Clintons had for months refused to testify, describing the subpoena by the committee’s Republican chairman as ‘invalid and legally unenforceable’.”

As of the time of reporting, the Clintons’ testimonies appear to remain on schedule, though will not be aired live. Rather, they will reportedly be released at a later, unspecified date.

The Times reports 25th February 2026:

“Bill and Hillary Clinton are about to begin two days of sworn testimony to Congress about their relationship with the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. The former Democratic president and his wife will undergo questioning by the House oversight committee, starting with Hillary on Thursday and followed by Bill on Friday. Republicans are likely to interrogate the pair about the images of Bill reclining in a hot tub next to an unidentified person and sitting with his arm around a woman, photographs that garnered intense scrutiny when the files were released last December….The sessions will not be broadcast live and the Clintons’ deposition will be recorded at a performing arts centre close to their New York home. The footage will be released at a later date.”

The Times again helpfully lists the areas that Congress may wish to explore with the Clintons.

The Times reports 25th February 2026:

i) New photographs and emails

ii) Bill Clinton’s multiple trips on Epstein’s private jet

1) Names Revealed in the UK

We appear to have shifted to a new timeline.

As last week’s Radical Dispatch laid out, two princes - the former Prince Andrew and the ‘Prince of Darkness’ Lord Mandelson - were revealed in the Epstein Files to have acted as British conduits for the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s global blackmail trafficking operation at the behest of Mossad, it seems.

Whereas the ramifications of this story continue to reverberate across the world, triggering resignations and outings everywhere, it remains important to recall that none of what we have yet seen can be described as justice, in a legal sense.

Ghislaine Maxwell remains the only woman to have been mysteriously convicted for sexually trafficking underage victims to absolutely nobody.

Justice did at least appear to be introducing itself at the home of the former advisor to three British Prime Minister’s and former UK ambassador to Washington DC, Epstein-friend and Prince of Darkness, Lord Peter Mandelson.

Considering what is being revealed, it is understandable.

And it wasn’t just men involved, either. Though some of the potential lines of inquiry are now quite literally, dead.

“…Annabelle Neilson appears numerous times in the latest tranche of documents relating to disgraced financier Epstein, released by the US Department of Justice on Friday. Neilson, who died at the age of 49 in 2018, was a prominent model in the 1990s and 2000s and was a fixture of the London party scene..”

Upon learning of the sheer scale and horror of these organised globalist criminals, many among the British public were demanding the harshest possible punishments.

So serious is the situation, that PM Starmer’s government has started to crumble. The resignation of PM Starmer’s No.10 Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney provided the first blow.

The problem for Starmer was that Mandelson-protege McSweeney had been trained by Mandelson on the Labour party’s highly-restricted Excalibur database, which kept files of Kompromat on every single Labour MP.

The Times reports 13th September 2025:

“In this pursuit, McSweeney had no closer ally than Mandelson. The pair had first met in the late 1990s when McSweeney was a volunteer at party headquarters and worked on Excalibur, a database pioneered by Mandelson…and privately helping McSweeney to go harder, and faster, in expunging the left. After the election victory last year, he awaited his reward. Ever since the New Labour days, Mandelson had felt overlooked and undervalued. In government, he never came near to occupying a great office of state. McSweeney would remedy this perceived injustice.”

Using the ‘Excalibur’ database, McSweeney became Mandelson’s - and hence Epstein’s - enforcer inside the Labour party, and then inside the British government.

The Halstead Gazette reports 8th February 2026:

“Reports suggest he was later hired to work in Labour’s ‘attack and rebuttal unit’ in the party’s Millbank headquarters, where he is said to have been tasked with adding information to Peter Mandelson’s ‘excalibur’ database which informed campaign messaging.”

This is how Mandelson was revealed to have built up an entire network of presumably compromised globalist Labour MPs, whom he could commandeer with complete obedience to takeover the Labour party, and the British government.

Meanwhile, any journalist who tried to reveal such matters was subjected to ‘opposition research’ with their lives being potentially ruined by Mandelson’s network.

Conversely, those with kompromat on them would be promoted by Mandelson, because it was they who would be easier to control once they were in positions of power, at risk of their secrets being exposed.

This is precisely why we called Labour an institutionally pedophile party.

And that same message was sealed by the Liberal Democrats.

Thankfully, the Tories finally understood our message.

Downing Street has refused to say if Sir Keir knew at the time of his visit to Palantir’s offices whether Palantir was a client of Global Counsel. Global Counsel was co-founded by Lord Mandelson and has worked with a roster of clients including Palantir, GSK, Vodafone, OpenAI, TikTok and the Premier League. The lobbying firm recently announced it had cut ties with Lord Mandelson in the wake of fresh revelations about the peer’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Newly-released documents in the US, known as the ‘Epstein files’, have revealed further details about Lord Mandelson’s relationship with the paedophile financier. Peter Thiel, a co-founder of Palantir, is also named in the material released by the US Department of Justice and has acknowledged meeting Epstein ‘a few times’.”

And Starmer began facing serious questions about Peter Thiel’s Palantir.

Everything that Mandelson negotiated while serving as our ambassador to Washington DC will now become a matter of public domain, after being scrutinised by parliament’s intelligence and security committee.

“They added that despite having oversight of the intelligence agencies the ISC had ‘never before had access’ to the kind of sensitive operational information they will now receive, which includes the entirety of the UK’s government strategy to deal with the Trump administration”

Recognising how serious matters had gotten, Starmer sought to put a line under it all by apologising.

Because this is not and must never become a political game. The victims of Epstein have lived with trauma that most of us can barely comprehend. And they’ve had to relive it again and again. They have seen accountability delayed and too often denied. I want to say this: I am sorry. Sorry for what was done to you. Sorry that so many people with power failed you. Sorry for having believed Mandelson’s lies and appointed him. And sorry that even now, you’re forced to watch this story unfold in public once again. But I also want to say this: in this country, we will not look away. We will not shrug our shoulders. And we will not allow the powerful to treat justice as optional. We will pursue the truth. We will uphold the integrity of public life. And we will do everything within our power and in the interests of justice to ensure accountability is delivered. That is what the public expects. That is what the victims deserve. And it is what I will do.”

The problem for Starmer is that everyone knows that he knew about Mandelson, and had been pre-warned.

The Independent reports 12th September 2025:

“Serious concerns have been raised that newly sacked US ambassador Peter Mandelson did not clear security vetting for the role – but the prime minister pushed through his appointment anyway. Sources have told The Independent that MI6 failed to clear the Labour peer…there were…worries that his past links to the disgraced financier and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein ‘would compromise him’.”

The former head of the SIS (formerly Mi6) Sir Richard Dearlove similarly waded in.

But Starmer tried in vain to strike a defiant tone, stating with gumption that he would ‘never give up’.

All while Labour’s lobotomised MPs stood to attention clapping for Dear Leader like monkeys, as he refused to resign.

A window into establishment thinking on the seriousness of matters was provided by the Times of London, which published a Leader column also commenting on the need for something resembling justice to actually be delivered.

2) Names in the US

As in the UK, those who procured victims for Epstein had been women.

While the clients were usually men.

The Independent reports 10th February 2026:

The release of these latest files brought Congressional attention back to the former president Bill Clinton, who was finally forced to submit to a congressional hearing on the matter.

While all around him other powerful men were dropping like flies.

This included revelations about members of the current administration too.

And other key establishment figures such as the Clinton and Obama lawyer, Kathy Ruemmler.

Though the worst allegations did seem to hover over mainly male billionaires.

With Les Wexner’s involvement posing some new legal questions for FBI Director Kash Patel.

“While Wexner’s role in facilitating the crimes of Epstein has been well-established for years, the revelation that the FBI officially acknowledged him as a co-conspirator by 2019 dismantles the narrative woven by the Trump administration that it has not withheld the identities of any of the notorious pedophile’s accomplices. In September 2025, Patel ostensibly did just that when he testified before Congress regarding Epstein. During his testimony, Patel was asked “Who did Epstein traffic these young women to?” by Louisiana Senator John N. Kennedy. Patel responded, “Himself.” There is no credible information—none—that he trafficked to other individuals.” The revelation that the FBI had confirmed that Wexner was a co-conspirator of Epstein by 2019 suggests that Patel lied to Congress during his testimony. Under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, knowingly and willingly making a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement to Congress is a felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to five years.”

Out of all the billionaires, Elon Musk seems to be the most animated.

But perhaps that’s because he has alot to distract from too.

Including revelations found in original emails posted on the DOJ website that Epstein brought three girls to see Musk for unknown reasons.

And the scandal didn’t just engulf the fields of politics and tech, but also the academy.

And culture.

And music.

And popular ‘spirituality’.

3) President Trump

One of the most surprising turn of events for most liberal observers of this latest release of Epstein Files is how President Trump came out looking exonerated. Elon Musk had planted the seed a long time ago.

Trump had indeed been in the files, but not in the way that Musk was implying. Indeed, Trump was so horrified about what Epstein was up to that he called a police chief to thank him for investigating him.

Fallout wasn’t just limited to the UK and US. Europe too had its fair share of scandal, starting with the Rothschild bank.

And Slovakia witnessed the resignation of their National Security Adviser.
