As time passes, more mainstream scientific figures are coming to acknowledge the undeniable reality of the pandemic. Claims and arguments that were previously controversial are now printed in top ‘liberal’ publications. Now, people are beginning to awaken to the exaggerated reality of deaths attributed to Covid.
From the start of Covid, a few skeptics and critical thinkers raised a taboo question: are we overcounting ‘Covid deaths‘ and hospitalisations?
Without deviation, the corporatist response has been “that’s a right-wing conspiracy”:
In her new op-ed in The Washington Post, CNN’s medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen wrote a surprisingly sober-minded analysis about the inflation of Covid deaths.
In the opening lines of the article, she lists official figures of ‘Covid deaths’ and asks the unutterable question:
“But are these Americans dying from covid or with covid?”
She goes on to quote a few physicians who attest to the substantial over-counting of Covid hospitalisations.
As one physician explains, “since every hospitalized patient gets tested for covid, many are incidentally positive,” he said. A gunshot victim or someone who had a heart attack, for example, could test positive for the virus, but the infection has no bearing on why they sought medical care.
Citing data from Massachusetts, Wen reveals only a third of Covid hospitalisations were primarily caused by the virus:
One of the doctors openly admitted that in some days, only 10% of “Covid hospitalisations” were actually from Covid. The doctor goes on to explain,
“Today, most patients in their hospitals carrying the coronavirus are there for another reason. They want the public to see what they’re seeing, because, as Doron says, ‘overcounting covid deaths undermines people’s sense of security and the efficacy of vaccines’.”
Figures for American hospitals align with that in other countries as well.
Dr. Tracy Beth Hoeg recently shared data from Denmark, showing 60-70% of deaths in 2022 where the patient tested positive for Covid were “with Covid” rather than “due to Covid”:
This new article in The Washington Post is remarkable. This is the kind of journalism that has been completely absent in the corporatist press — indirectly fuelling the rise of Substack publications like this one.
Previously, asking these questions was unthinkable.
Given the political agendas and medical interventions the elite liberal media was promoting, it makes sense why they didn't explore this area. If it turns out that a large percentage of ‘Covid deaths’ are in fact incidental and unrelated — or slightly related — to the virus, the perceived risk of Covid drastically decreases.
And if the perceived risk of Covid decreases, getting double, triple, or quadruple-jabbed is far less favourable in a cost-benefit analysis.
To illustrate, consider if Covid’s infection fatality rate was 0.00000000000001% (in reality, it’s reported as more like 0.030%). Even the most pro-vaccine medical professionals would agree remaining unvaccinated is the safest, healthiest option (outside of extremely rare, immunocompromised people) when weighing the comparing the risks of Covid and the mRNA vaccines.
In actuality, the decision to get vaccinated is very different depending on whether 100 people are weekly dying from Covid or 1,000 — or if, say, the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) is 1% - as Dr. Nicholas Christakis continues to believe - or more like 0.1%.
Conceding the Covid death rate is far lower than it in fact is undermines the militant mRNA mania that has captured corporatist media. And so any discussion or questioning of Covid death counting was derailed as conspiratorial and insufficiently sympathetic to people dying (‘are you trying to say no one is dying from Covid?’).
The tides are shifting.
The FDA’s own vaccine advisors are now condemning their own agency’s vaccine approval process — and the media can’t possibly demonise them as “fringe” or “right-wing.” Even publications like CNN (“Joe Rogan is promoting horse dewormer”) and NBC can no longer avoid or politically spin newly emerging stories on the corruption and manipulation behind the ‘emergency’ approval of the new booster shots:
The truth on wildly exaggerated Covid deaths, vaccine effectiveness, and booster necessity is slowly coming out. Even the most pro-vaccine advocates must now grapple with the consequences of their blind faith in pharmaceutical companies and public health authorities. The implications are huge.
