The Idea:
Since the Covid mandate period, the WEF has taken to seizing as many opportunities for its Great Reset as it can. One of the proposals for the plebs backed by the bureaucrats is to zone every major city into 15-minute zones.
“As climate change and global conflict cause shocks and stresses at faster intervals and increasing severity, the 15-minute city will become even more critical.”
“Various cities around the world have begun to embrace the 15-minute city approach. For instance, Melbourne is proposing self-contained communities within an 800-meter radius. Portland’s Climate Action Plan calls for more vibrant neighbourhoods in which 90% of the residents can walk or bike to fulfill their daily needs. But the most vocal proponent of the concept remains Paris, where the concept originated.”
Ostensibly such proposals are sold as reducing pollution and easing congestion.
Quite.
Such a target would not be hard to meet given that when the idea of zoned 15-minute cities was adopted by Oxford City Council it meant introducing plans to restrict movement between zoned neighbourhoods, enforced via hefty fines. Very quickly zoned 15-minute cities began to look like climate lockdowns.
And there was the catch.
The Nudge:
And so when it was floated recently by the press that Southend City in Essex (which also happens to be where this author was born) had floated the idea of zoned 15-minute cities there was immediate and understandable concern.
“Southend could be divided into eight neighbourhoods where residents will be able to ‘live, work and play’ inside a 15-minute radius of their home.
This week it was announced 100 councils across the country had signed up to become ‘15-minute cities’, where residents have every facility within a 15-minute walk, cycle or public transport ride..
Oxford is one of the councils signed up to the pilot scheme in which residents have to apply for a permit to drive through a different neighbourhood, with fines for exceeding a yearly quota.
Southend is not signed up to scheme, but it is being pencilled into the city’s local plan, with each town such as Leigh or Westcliff becoming one of eight 15-minute neighbourhoods.”
The Danger:
On 3rd January 2023 Radical Media addressed the danger of zoned 15-minute cities being used to introduce climate lockdowns during our special New Year’s broadcast of the Radical Show with British esotericist David Icke.
As is indicated in the above tweet, Oxford City responded to that episode of the Radical Show in total denial.
Radical Media then published a point by point rebuttal of Oxford City’s denial, citing information from Oxford City’s own website.
Readers may recap on that response here:
The danger is not restricted to the UK or Europe. In fact, indigenous and marginalised communities have - as always - born the brunt of globalist empire scheming.
For further information on the danger posed by zoned 15-minute cities, Founder of Not Our Future David Fleming explains in this presentation for the World Council for Health:
The Swift Response:
Unfortunately for globalists, local Southend activists were quick to note the danger and organise against it.
The Swift Retreat:
Swift and fierce action by local residents resulted in a swift and categoric public retreat by Southend City Council. Public assurances were made that such plans would never be implemented in Southend under this council.
“SOUTHEND Council has ruled out ever signing up to a 15-minute city scheme which restricts residents’ ability to travel freely across the city.
Councils across the country are signing up to a net zero 2030 scheme and some are including plans for 15-minute cities where residents have everything they need within a 15-minute walk, cycle of public transport ride..
..Some cities like Oxford are taking things further and limiting the number of journeys between designated 15-minute neighbourhoods, with fines for those who exceed their limit of around 100 journeys a year..
..While Southend’s local plan will have eight “complete neighbourhoods”, the Labour-led joint administration with the Lib Dems and Independents says it will fight to prevent any restrictive scheme being implemented in Southend.”

The Story:
The backstory to how the community rallied quickly to kill this 15-minute zoned-city proposal at inception is told here below in a Radical Media exclusive by one of the key activists involved in the fightback, Samantha Hurst, in her own words.
It is a small victory in trying times. But it is testament to the importance of imposing our will. Globalists are powerless in the face of our public refusal. It really is that simple.
Just say no.
The Power of Unity.
From a young age I have had a rebellious spirit. This was often misdirected but has found its place in today's world. Recently, I was researching the concept of "15-minute cities" and I discovered that Oxford, despite 98% of the city's residents opposing it, were going ahead with their plans to implement this idea. As I researched protests against this threat to their freedoms, I wondered if my own hometown of Southend-on-Sea had any plans to adopt the same.
To my surprise, I found a newly released, local article announcing that the council was considering the idea.
My initial reaction was one of fear and anxiety, as I imagine many of us feel when they realise they are facing the tyrannical globalist Goliath that has been ruling over us with a heavy hand for the last few years. But my fear quickly turned to action. I shared the story with my friends, on my personal social media accounts and in a local group chat. This group included a local councillor, who responded to questions about the article by saying that it was “an interesting issue that the council would be looking into”.
My post quickly gained traction and many people contacted me, expressing their concerns and forming a rare unity with the local community, one that I had not felt when I was vocally opposing lockdowns.
A friend who was upset about the issue reached out to her barrister uncle for advice, many local business owners became vocal and began to share their concerns. This quickly led to the creation of a group dedicated to fighting back. The wave of opposition to the “15 minute city” quickly became a tsunami.
I began questioning the councillor, as did many others but my post was eventually removed for "hate speech" by the groups admin. However, the Streisand Effect took hold, and even more people became interested in the issue due to the controversy surrounding its removal. It seemed those in other towns were beginning to hear about it and also wanted to be involved and many people were contacting the local council and its councillors. My post was then reinstated.
The following day, the councillor backtracked and posted that there were “no actual plans in place and that the community's concerns were creating an unnecessary panic". The pushback from the local community was so great that the council then released another article in the local paper stating there were definitely no plans for a 15 minute city and that it was all a misunderstanding. Other council members came out and said they would oppose the idea and had no plans to even look at it. It seems the early action of the many stopped their plans in their tracks.
The power of unity displayed in this incident is a testament to the transformative strength of oneness. When we come together, we can overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges and achieve great things. By focusing on our common goals and working towards a shared purpose, we can harness the power of the many and create real change in our communities and in the world at large.
We must fight back against those that want to oppress us. The story of Southend-on-Sea shows that even a single voice can spark a movement, and when united, we have the power to shape the future and create a world that works for the many and not just the few.
