Trump DNI Tulsi Gabbard Declassifies Documents Showing President Obama's Treason

1) DNI Gabbard Submits Evidence Against Obama for Treason to DOJ
US Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard has accused former President Obama of treason and called for his prosecution. Gabbard has submitted evidence to Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice (DOJ) from a larger trove of newly declassified Obama-era documents.
These documents appear to unequivocally show Obama politicising and weaponising national security briefings in order to falsely cast President-elect Trump as a Russian asset after his 2016 election victory against Hillary Clinton.
The Guardian reports 18th July 2025:
“Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, has called for Barack Obama and former senior US national security officials to be prosecuted after accusing them of a ‘treasonous conspiracy’ intended to show that Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election win was due to Russian interference. She said Obama and senior officials in his administration had ‘[laid] the groundwork for … a years-long coup’ against Trump after his victory over Hillary Clinton by ‘manufacturing intelligence’ to suggest that Russia had tried to influence the election. That included using a dossier prepared by a British intelligence analyst, Christopher Steele, that they knew to be unreliable, Gabbard claimed. The post-election intelligence estimates contrasted with findings reached before the election, which indicated that Russia probably was not trying to interfere, she claimed. In extraordinary comments calling for prosecutions, she added: ‘The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government’.”
Gabbard’s evidence also implicates Obama’s national security appointments, including his former CIA head John Brennan, former FBI head James Comey and his former DNI James Clapper.
DNI Gabbard’s accusations centre around Obama’s public claims - such as those made below - after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election that President-elect Trump was helped to power by the Russians.
President Obama: “Unless the American people genuinely think that the professionals in the CIA, the FBI, our entire intelligence infrastructure, many of whom, by the way, served in previous administrations and who are Republicans, are less trustworthy than the Russians then people should pay attention to what our intelligence agencies say. The Russians can't change us or significantly weaken us. They are a smaller country. They are a weaker country. Their economy doesn't produce anything that anybody wants to buy except oil and gas and arms. They can impact us if we lose track of who we are. Mr. Putin can weaken us, just like he's trying to weaken Europe, if we start buying into notions that it's okay to intimidate the press. I mean, think about it. Some of the people who historically have been very critical of me for engaging with Russians and having conversations with them also endorsed the president-elect, even as he was saying that we should stop sanctioning Russia and being tough on them and work together with them. Over a third of Republican voters approve of Vladimir Putin, the former head of the KGB. Ronald Reagan would roll over in his grave. Everything that happens in this town, everything that's said is seen through the lens of, does this help or hurt us relative to Democrats or relative to President Obama? Unless that changes, we're going to continue to be vulnerable to foreign influence because we've lost track of what it is that we're about and what we stand for. We have said, and I will confirm that this happened at the highest levels of the Russian government, and I will let you make that determination as to whether there are high-level Russian officials who go off rogue and decide to tamper with the U.S. election process without Vladimir Putin knowing about it. Our vulnerability to Russia or any other foreign power is directly related to how divided, partisan, dysfunctional our political process is. If fake news that's being released by some foreign government is almost identical to reports that are being issued through partisan news venues, then it's not surprising that that foreign propaganda will have a greater effect. Because it doesn't seem that far-fetched compared to some of the other stuff that folks are hearing from domestic propagandists, voters who've been listening to that stuff for years who've been getting that stuff every day from talk radio or other venues, they're gonna believe it. So if we want to really reduce foreign influence on our elections, then we better think about how to make sure that our political process, our political dialogue is stronger than it's been.”
DNI Gabbard went to great lengths to not only explain the specifics of her allegation of treason against President Obama, but also to publish her evidence in the form of the declassified documents alongside these allegations.
Below, DNI Gabbard has provided declassified formal intelligence assessments made by the Obama administration before Trump’s victory in the 2016 election, which conclude “there is no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the vote count through cyber means”.
These formal intelligence assessments made it to the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) only for them to be pulled prior to their inclusion in the PDB.
The next day, CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, and DNI James Clapper all met at the Obama White House to reassess the Russian threat level. Obama is then alleged to have instructed his assembled national security team to create a new intelligence assessment that specifically detailed Russian election meddling, clearly contradicting the previous assessments reproduced above.
DNI Gabbard then accuses Obama’s national security apparatus of leaning on their assets in the media to advance these falsehoods against president-elect Trump.
This new assessment was then weaponised against Trump for his entire first term and until his removal after the 2020 election debacle. To make their case to the public the intelligence officials relied on the much discredited Steele dossier.
For politicising and weaponising the intelligence apparatus against president-elect Trump, DNI Gabbard has specifically accused the “highest levels” inside the Obama administration of “treason“.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard: “The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic. Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office, after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our Democratic Republic. What we saw occur here, as the documents we released detailed, was that we had a sitting president of the United States and his cabinet and leadership team, quite frankly, who were not happy with the fact that President Trump had won the election, that the American people had chosen Donald J. Trump to be the next president and commander in chief of the United States. And so they decided that they would do everything possible to try to undermine his ability to do what voters tasked President Trump to do. So creating this piece of manufactured intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump get elected contradicted every other assessment that had been made previously in the months leading up to the election that said exactly the opposite, that Russia neither had neither the intent nor the capability to try to, quote unquote, ‘hack the United States election for the presidency of the United States’. So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic and enacting what would be essentially a years long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”
2) Obama Panics
President Obama may have been better advised to hope that DNI Gabbard’s incredibly serious allegations of treason against him eventually fizzled out by their own accord. Instead, he did the worst thing possible in circumstances where the incriminating evidence is publicly available and damning: he issued a total denial.
Reuters reports 22nd July 2025:
“The office of U.S. Democratic former President Barack Obama said on Tuesday that a document issued last week by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence does not undercut the conclusion that Russia tried to influence the 2016 U.S. election but that it did not manipulate any votes. ‘Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,’ Obama's office said in a statement. President Donald Trump accused Obama of ‘treason’ on Tuesday, blaming him, without providing evidence, for leading an effort to falsely tie him to Russia and undermine his 2016 presidential campaign. ‘These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction,’ Obama's office said.”
Reuters made their own bias known above by offering this line: “president Donald Trump accused Obama of ‘treason’ on Tuesday, blaming him, without providing evidence…” On the contrary, the evidence is official, overwhelming and now public.
All Obama’s blanket denial achieved was to rile DNI Gabbard into doubling down on the evidence provided while promising to release yet more declassified documents. This story will not simply go away.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard: “We will be releasing further documents tomorrow that will refute that statement. New York Times says Russian hackers acted to aid Trump in the election. CIA's, Obama's CIA director John Brennan says there is strong consensus among us to support the CIA claim Russian hackers aided Donald Trump's election. Hillary Clinton said I would be president if not for the Russian hackers supporting Donald Trump. So there is a vast body of evidence and intelligence that debunks and refutes this statement you've just read and others coming from some of the Democrat leaders in Congress today.”
DNI Gabbard then appeared at the White House press briefing to provide even further information on her findings and vowed to press forward.

DNI Gabbard: “Thank you very much. Good afternoon. At President Trump's direction and with the support and coordination with the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, today we've released a declassified oversight majority staff report that was produced in September of 2020. The stunning revelations that we are releasing today should be of concern to every American. This is not about Democrats Republicans, this has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast will count. There is irrefutable evidence that detail how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false. They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn't. The report that we released today shows in great detail how they carried this out. They manufactured findings from shoddy sources. They suppressed evidence and credible intelligence that disproved their false claims. They disobeyed traditional tradecraft intelligence community standards and withheld the truth from the American people. In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump in that election in November of 2016. They worked with their partners in the media to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump and launching what would be a years-long coup against him and his administration. We're here today because the American people deserve the truth, they deserve accountability, and they deserve justice….I'm going to go over the key findings from the House Intelligence Report, which investigated the claims that were made by an intelligence community assessment ordered by President Obama and published in January of 2017.
First, Putin's principal interests relating to the 2016 election were to undermine faith in the US democratic process, not show any preference of a certain candidate. In fact, this report shows Putin held back from leaking compromising material on Hillary Clinton prior to the election, instead planning to release it after the election to weaken what Moscow viewed as an inevitable Clinton presidency. In the January 2017 intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered, John Brennan, who was CIA director at the time, and the intelligence community, intentionally suppressed intelligence that showed Putin was saving the most damaging material that he had in his possession about Hillary Clinton until after her potential and likely victory. The report goes into great detail about the information that Russia and Putin had on Hillary Clinton, which included possible criminal acts like secret meetings with multiple named US religious organisations in which State Department officials offered, in exchange for supporting Secretary Clinton's campaign for the presidency, significant increases in financing from the State Department. They also had documents that showed the patronage of the State Department to State Department employees who would go and support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. There were high-level DNC emails that detailed evidence of Hillary's, quote, psycho-emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness, and that then-Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers. Then CIA Director Brennan and the intelligence community mischaracterised intelligence and relied on dubious substandard sources to create a contrived false narrative that Putin developed a ‘clear preference’ for Trump. Brennan and the IC (Intelligence Community) misled lawmakers by referencing the debunked Steele dossier to assess ‘Russia's plans and intentions’, falsely suggesting that this dossier had intelligence value when he knew that it was discredited. The intelligence community excluded significant intelligence and ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence that contradicted the intelligence community assessment's key findings on Putin's alleged support for Trump. Including this intelligence reporting would have exposed the ICA's claim as implausible, if not ridiculous. The intelligence community assessment omitted reliably sourced information such as how some Russian intelligence officials were ‘planning for candidate Hillary Clinton's victory’, while others assessed neither Trump nor Clinton would respect Russia's interests. As was reflected in the ODNI documents that we released on Friday, multiple intelligence community assessments released in the months leading up to the November 2016 election concluded that Russia had neither the intent nor capability to impact the outcome of the US election. On December 5th of 2016, the FBI and ODNI gave the House Intelligence Committee its first post-election classified briefing in which there was no mention of Putin aspiring to elect Trump by either agency.”
3) Trump Labels it Treason
Days after DNI Gabbard used the word “treason” to describe Obama’s actions, President Trump weighed in using the very same word.

Trump: “If you look at those papers they have them stone cold, and it was President Obama. It wasn't lots of people all over the place, it was them too, but the leader of the gang was President Obama, Barack Hussein Obama, have you heard of him? And except for the fact that he gets shielded by the press for his entire life that's the one they look, he's guilty. It's not a question. You know, I like to say, let's give it time. It's there. He's guilty. This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election. They did things that nobody's ever even imagined, even in other countries.”
And Trump didn’t stop at Obama. He also reminded everyone that by commissioning the since discredited Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton was a key player in this plot.
Trump: “Crooked Hillary Clinton. Crooked as a $3 bill. Hillary Clinton and her group, the Democrats, spent $12 million to Christopher Steele to write up a report that was a total fake report. It took two years to figure that out, but it came out that it was a total fake report. It was made-up fiction. And they used that. The one thing they weren't able to do was to, and probably the only thing I respect about the press in years is, the press refused to write it before the election. They refused to put it in. The Steele report was a disaster. All lies, all fabrication, all admitted, and admitted fraud. She paid $12 million and the Democrats for that report to a wise guy named Christopher Steele. He wrote a phony report. And they wanted to get that report in before the election. And I'll tell you what, I talk about all the time, the fake news, how bad it is. But in this case, they wouldn't do it. They saw it, they read it and they said we don't believe it and it was only after substantially like a month and a half after the election that it got printed and it was a big wisp. It was just like a bang of nothing, because the election had ended. If that report had gotten published by the New York Times or somebody, and I respect the Times for maybe only this, because they're crooked as you can be, they're a terrible paper, a crooked corrupt paper. But for this one moment, they said this is bullshit, we can't put this in.”
This “treasonous” coup plot against Trump lasted throughout his first term and culminated in the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story and the ousting of President Trump, first from social media and then from office after an unsound 2020 election.
Presumably, the ‘evidence’ that corporate media outlets such as Reuters would have us believe does not exist, includes the 51 intelligence community personnel who have been shown to have lied when they accused Russia of being behind the suppressed Hunter Biden laptop story.
Radical Media reports 22nd January 2025:
It has now been shown that these 51 national security officials knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real at the time. Thus rendering their behaviour not only blatant election interference, but also malicious collusion, and so treason.
House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence reports 25th June 2024:
“Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Committee on the Judiciary, and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a joint interim staff report titled, ‘The Intelligence Community 51: How CIA Contractors Colluded with The Biden Campaign to Mislead American Voters.’ The report reveals new information detailing how the highest levels of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), up to and including then-CIA Director Gina Haspel, were made aware of the ‘Public Statement on the Hunter Biden Emails’ by 51 former intelligence officials prior to its approval and publication. The report reveals important new facts, such as how some of the statement's signatories, including former Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell, were on active contract with the CIA at the time they issued the Hunter Biden statement to discredit damaging allegations about Biden family influence peddling just weeks before the 2020 presidential election.”
Hence, what began as the suppression of a true story that may have swayed the election, ended as undeniable treason and fraudulent collusion. Fraud vitiates everything. Biden was an illegitimate president. Trump is now in his third term.
It is with all this in mind that President Trump signed an executive order revoking the security clearances of those 51 national security officials.
And this week, yet more documents have been unsealed detailing the exact nature of the Hunter Biden’s own relationship with Russia. This truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

Perhaps the most significant reason is that the company, Burisma, the one that Hunter Biden worked for, did not have enough gas supply to heat the country in the upcoming winter of 2014, 2015. So Joe Biden goes to bat, and it actually is very beneficial to his son in Burisma. These documents were all conducted all these negotiations, these secret negotiations, on Joe Biden's private pseudonym email account. Think about that, he's negotiating with Russia, he's talking to Germany, and the documents are kept off the official books they're on his private email probably because they were beneficial to Hunter Biden's company, but those documents just broke, the stories up at just the news, and it's another example of Democrats being against Russia until well. They're for it. We saw it with Bill Clinton in the $500,000 speech. We saw it with Skokovo. And now we see it again in a decade too late, perhaps. We're now seeing, once again, Democrats on both sides of the Russia equation.”
Treason is a very serious allegation.
4) Closed Epstein File Was Weaponised Against Trump
Despite the evidence presented above, some remain in doubt and are convinced that this is a partisan attack.
We here at Radical Media are no strangers to criticising Tulsi Gabbard when it is needed.

And yet despite our past criticism, it is sloppy to attempt to frame DNI Gabbard’s findings against Obama here as being partisan. The evidence, for those who follow such matters, is now overwhelming. And the idea that this story is but a “distraction” from the Epstein saga has the entire situation upside down.
In fact, as we have explained in past Radical Dispatches, it is the (very real) story of Mossad’s Epstein global pedophile blackmail operation that is being weaponised against Trump to create the distraction.
After Elon Musk sought and failed to “impeach” Trump and replace him with Vice-President JD Vance.

A bitter Musk then, after setting up his own party, sought to weaponise the Epstein case in order to undermine Trump during his mid-term elections. Trump seeks to hold the Epstein cards close to his chest. Knowing that to release the Epstein files now would derail peace with Israel - who stand primarily accused in the Epstein saga, Musk and his allies are demanding their release in the hope that it undermines Trump’s presidency by making peace impossible, while triggering yet more wars.
What has transpired since then with the Wall Street Journal only goes to confirm our view that Musk and his allies have weaponised the Epstein saga so as to derail Trump’s ability to negotiate peace in the Middle East.
