JUST IN - Police with riot gear have reached Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Zaman Park residence to arrest him from the city of Lahore in Pakistan, local media reports say

Last year, Imran Khan had claimed that the Biden administration ousted him from office due to his refusal to acquiesce to certain US foreign policy and economic interests.

Today, one assassination attempt later and as police surround his home, Khan has released a video from his home residence in which he calls upon the nation to rise up if anything happens to him:

You need to go outside and struggle for your rights and true freedom! Look, Allah has already given Imran Khan everything. I am fighting your war. I have spent my entire life fighting and I will continue to. But if something happens to me or I end up in jail, or they kill me, then you have to prove that even without Imran Khan this nation will struggle and will never accept the total slavery of these thieves and this one man who is running the nation. Long live Pakistan”
